Imagine a clubs new owners lumbered the club with £500m per year, average contract of 3 years, in player wages in the first year of ownership. They dip out after 18 months.
Suddenly the club can't afford their commitments and go bust.
@Z9Priv_ If the breaches allow you to offer financial terms to players which you otherwise wouldn't have been able to, that undeniably has an impact on sporting performance. How you could say otherwise is beyond me
@Z9Priv_@lfcclick127 When you consider that one of the charges related to paying a manager a "shadow salary" through one of their subsidiaries, and they would have been unlikely to attract him on ONLY the legitimate salary which they put through the books, how can you argue the breaches didn't?
