I was just talking to a friend about transference love, and the feeling of needing love from a therapist. I'm going to do my best to describe my thoughts on it. All the feelings I'm about to talk about are natural and human. It is okay to feel them. 🧵
OK. Real talk time. I've been keeping this quiet for months and there's no need to make it public, but that wouldn't serve anyone would it? Also I keep witnessing how this profession tends to be self-righteous and full of stigma against the very people we are meant to serve. 1/n

Tragic news
The latest @CornwallInsight prediction, based on Ofgem's new methodology, is an 81% price cap rise in Oct (taking typical bill to £3,582/yr) and a further 19% in Jan (so £4,266/yr)

What an experience it was!! Day where the hearts of our team and the club, synchronised with the rhythm of supporting chants, erupted with true joy and an immense sense of achievement 😊 @VballEngland
When October price cap rise begins Bank of England expects 40% rise (on top of 54% in April) to £2800 a year. That's about 1/3rd of the state pension (average payment is £8530) and 2/3rds of a single person's Universal Credit of £4018 (88% if <25). The another rise in January.
@RECKLESS_IMBER You will find a lot of people around you who are super proud of you too 😉 I have no doubt that each student of yours felt truly supported by your ongoing presence Chris. Congratulations to you all.
@ClinLeadWBM@mpftwellbeing Sarah, this sounds like an intriguing initiative. Can I ask how often the wellbeing bus will be available to local people? Is it something they can relay to be of help regularly or is it created to support the assessment process to ease the access to mpfb?

@aclientfirst my therapist held me in her arms when pain of the past became too much to bear .. I will be forever grateful for her courage, curiosity and safety. And yes, ethical considerations were at the forefront of her decision.
