Huge congratulations to Sauce Labs very own Paloma Oliveira for her Community Management award from https://t.co/J4EWgkol2H. Her article 'Create a more diverse and equitable open source project with open standards" was the People's Choice Winner! https://t.co/sneF5aQ0X1.
@Runnerclare Sadly yes. Been back nearly two weeks and the situation hasn’t improved much. Apparently our luggage has been found, but the courier company who’s supposed to be delivering it hasn’t received it. We only found that out by chasing it loads. Shambles.
@garyfallsover Good stuff! I’ve been somewhat in a similar place.. still am. Bad injury, best part of a year for diagnosis and the wait for surgery and then recovery. Takes a huge toll on motivation and self confidence. Small steps. Best of luck to you!
@timmisiak@FriendlyTester We have the same at Sauce Labs. We’re a very technical support team (for a very technical product) and our escalations engineers handle technical escalations from within the team (e.g. L3 support) and basically works on the very smelly stuff.
@ogeerunner @mswoowar @MissChappo Oh nice. I always find toasting marshmallows and s’mores and all that are good in theory but a bit pants in practice. Like many things it’s more about doing it than the result. That’s what she said.
First run today 3 weeks post surgery, and 10 and a half months since my last run.
Things I’ve missed:
* endorphins. Yes, there are other forms of exercise available, but for me nothing generates an endorphin rush like running.
* the good type of fatigue. Yum
