Pragmatic grand-maman. Love grandsons too much to ignore climate change. Appreciate opposing views when supported by evidence.Of course polluters should pay.
@ItsDeanBlundell We don't have crises at the border.
Trump needs something to blame the tariffs on because his folks will complain about higher prices.
The real purpose of the tariffs is to replace tax revenue when he makes cuts for the wealthy.
There were 12,000 illegal crossings from Canada in the United States last year.
There were 28,000 crossings of illegals coming into Canada from the United States last year.
Had 30,000 illegal guns from the US into Canada and we got ourselves another dumbass American trying to run a narrative that’s total bullshit
We need more family doctors, especially in rural communities.
So, we’re forgiving portions of student loans for doctors and nurses who staff rural clinics.
If you're angry because:
-Inflation is high
-Crime is rising
-Migrants are invading
-Fentanyl Overdoses are rising
-The economy is bad
The truth is:
-Inflation isn't high, it is 2.6%
-Crime has been falling for years and continues to fall
-Border crossings are the lowest in over 4 years
-Fentanyl overdoses are dropping rapidly
-America has the best economy in the world
You're actually angry about the endless lies designed to keep you upset, scared, and willing to support those who will make your life worse and take your rights away to "solve" these issues.
Be angry at the people lying to you.
Oil & gas companies are colluding with Pierre Poilievre to drop the price on carbon pollution.
Are we even surprised?🤔
After raking in MAX donations from big oil lobbyists at exclusive fundraisers, of course he wants to cut the industrial carbon price & let them off the hook.
BREAKING: President Biden racks up one of his biggest victories to date as three Americans who were detained in China are released in a historic prisoner swap as a result of "years of work."
This is truly incredible and it gets even better...
"We are pleased to announce the release of Mark Swidan, Kai Li, and John Leung from detention in the People’s Republic of China," said a U.S. National Security Council spokesperson. "Soon they will return and be reunited with their families for the first time in many years."
Thanks to China's extreme laws, Swidan had been sentenced to death in 2019 after being detained in 2012 on drug-related charges. Kai Li and John Leung were both arrested on espionage charges, which makes their release all the more astonishing.
Thanks to Biden, there are now no more American prisoners in China and the travel advisory to that country has been lowered to Level 2, meaning travelers should exercise caution.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you think that Biden's foreign policy will far outshine Donald Trump's — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. A new paper from a pair of Alberta academics makes it clear that the cost of the carbon tax is far less than its critics would like to pretend.
Will our feelings start to care about the facts? #cdnpoli
