The average student graduates after 12 years of schooling and still cannot answer the most important questions in life.
What is a good man?
What is justice?
What is worth sacrificing for?
What is beauty?
What is truth?
What is the purpose of life?
Classical education begins with the assumption that any education failing to address these questions is not really education at all.
The Swiss grid is almost completely carbon free, yet it is largely illegal to install air conditioning in a house in Geneva, without a doctor's note and heat pumps have the a/c mode disabled and fines issued if used. A mean spirited degrowth mindset that transcends class and hides behind an environmental narrative even when it has nothing to do with the environment, like here. This is emblematic of a pathological hatred of the future and progress, that is a threat to Europe.
🇸🇪🇺🇦
For decades, Sweden was mocked by Russian propagandists as “soft,” “decadent,” “too comfortable to fight.”
Then the war came.
And Swedish volunteers crossed into Ukraine anyway.
Medics.
Drone operators.
Infantry.
Evacuation teams.
Some drove unarmored vans into artillery fire to pull wounded civilians out.
Some fought in trenches near the front.
Some never returned home.🙏💔🇸🇪
Not because Sweden ordered them to go.
Because they believed Europe matters.
Freedom matters. ❤️
Ukraine matters.🇺🇦❤️
A small country far in the north keeps producing people willing to risk everything for strangers under bombardment.
That says more about Sweden than any speech ever could. 🇸🇪

🚨‼️Reading Scripture isn’t a religious hobby, it’s how you keep your mind from being remodeled by the world. The Bible is not spiritual decoration, it’s daily bread, and starving Christians always act the same: they’re easily offended, easily deceived, and easily distracted. A man who won’t read his Bible is volunteering to be governed by feelings, trends, and whoever talks the loudest.
Most people don’t avoid Scripture because it’s hard, they avoid it because it’s honest. The Book doesn’t flatter the flesh. It exposes motives, corrects excuses, and draws lines where the world wants blur. That’s why a few verses can do more damage to pride than a thousand sermons can. Scripture is a mirror that tells the truth even when you don’t like the reflection.
Reading the Bible isn’t just information intake, it’s authority intake. You’re letting God speak first. And the more you hear God’s voice in the text, the less you confuse your own thoughts for revelation. The Spirit doesn’t replace the Book, He works through it. The believer who reads Scripture regularly becomes harder to manipulate because he has a measuring rod for every claim.
So don’t read the Bible like a chore, read it like a lifeline. The devil can’t steal your salvation, but he can steal your clarity, your joy, and your strength if you stay Bible-starved. A few minutes in the Book will do more to steady you than hours of news, debate, or doom-scrolling. If you want to grow, start where God speaks.
christian hermit friend:
- 50 years of sitting in silence & prayer every morning for 6 hours
- takes care of a little abandoned church, which he restored on his own, he lives next to it
- sitting next to him is incredible: the man literally channels the holy spirit all the time, pure bliss
- kindest person i ever met
- cares zero about money, power, fame, greed, attention
- washes himself in the little river next to the church
- lives a super humble life and makes wood furniture by hand in the afternoon
i only send people to him that have serious inner development and consider the reclusive life, so they get an idea of what that really looks like, they stay with him a couple of days and always come away in total awe
this man has my deepest respect and whom i admire enormously, we get along so well just sitting in silence or discussing various christian scriptures
This is what true power and inner development looks like, this is what pure happiness looks like, this is a man who lives in total surrender to god/absolute/brahman/infinity (whatever you want to call it) and truly embodies it in his real life. This is someone i admire
I used to think Christians were naive. I thought faith in God was just an emotional crutch for people who could not handle reality.
Now I think the opposite.
The more seriously I looked at life, history, suffering, conscience, beauty, evil, and the limits of human reason, the less convincing atheism became.
Because everyone has faith. Everyone. The only real question is where that faith is placed.
In God, or in man.
I was taught that intelligence means distance from God. But what is so intelligent about believing that matter somehow produced mind, that chaos somehow produced order, that chemistry somehow produced conscience, and that human beings can ground morality by themselves while constantly contradicting even their own standards?
If we are only matter, then human dignity is just a useful story. Love is chemistry. Evil is preference. Sacrifice is irrational. Meaning is self invented. But almost no one actually lives that way. We all live as if truth matters, as if cruelty is really wrong, as if beauty means something, as if love is more than a chemical reaction, and as if justice should exist even when it costs us.
That is not nothing. That points beyond survival.
The Bible understood this long before modern people started pretending they had outgrown it.
Genesis grounds human dignity in the image of God. That means people are not valuable because they are productive, attractive, healthy, or useful. They are valuable because they bear His image.
John 1 does not begin with chaos. It begins with the Logos. Reason, order, meaning. Reality is not random noise. It is intelligible because it comes from a mind greater than ours.
Ecclesiastes says that pleasure, work, success, and achievement collapse into vanity when cut off from God. Anyone who has chased status, money, sex, or recognition long enough knows how true that is.
Romans 1 says creation points beyond itself. And it does. The order of the world, the mathematical beauty of reality, the existence of consciousness, the hunger for meaning, the presence of moral knowledge, these are not small things.
And history teaches the same lesson. The bloodiest experiments of the last century did not come from too much faith in God. They came from man trying to replace God with ideology, state, race, class, or power. When God is removed, something else always takes His place. Usually something crueler.
Christianity also does not begin with a vague spiritual feeling. It makes a historical claim. That Christ entered history, was crucified, and rose again. You can reject that claim, but it is not the same as saying faith is just blind comfort. Christianity stands or falls on what it says actually happened.
So no, I no longer think faith in God is stupid.
I think one of the most shallow ideas modern people were ever sold is that disbelief is automatically intelligent.
Sometimes disbelief is not depth. Sometimes it is pride.
And sometimes faith is not an escape from reality. It is what remains when you look at reality honestly enough and realize that man is not enough, matter is not enough, and this world cannot explain itself.
I used to think Christians were foolish.
Now I think many of them simply saw earlier what I was too proud to see.
Can you imagine time traveling back to the 1990s, when doctors were taught that pain was the 5th vital sign?
There was a time when clinicians couldn’t tolerate watching a patient sit in agony.
If someone came into the ER with kidney stones, appendicitis, or a broken bone, relieving pain was part of the priority.
Somewhere along the way the culture shifted.
Now people can sit in waiting rooms doubled over in pain while everyone around them pretends not to hear it.
Compassion used to be the baseline.
Today, the entire free world is speaking the language of solidarity with Ukraine.
The blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag have become a symbol of courage, resilience, and the fight for the right to be free. Our voices are heard and supported across the world – often in places we don’t even expect it.
Ahead of an important OPBF championship fight, Japanese boxer Nanae Yamaka appeared at the official weigh-in wearing Ukrainian symbols. The blue-and-yellow ears of wheat and the heart on her uniform are a clear gesture of solidarity, seen by millions of people across the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.
We are grateful to every country, every institution, and every person who does not allow the world to forget about our struggle.
Thank you, Nanae, for your stance, and I wish you sporting victories. I thank Japan for its unwavering diplomatic support for Ukraine and for its reliable partnership.
The truck you X friends generously funded is doing great work. We also carry to church those who have difficulties to walk. It's my duty to help them get into the car as well as off the car. Happy 3rd Sunday of Lent dear friends.
Wife and daughter celebrate the man of the house's birthday with a simple surprise birthday party.
I assure you one thing: many rich don’t have this true love within their home.
This girl is only 20 and she knows. Every time I hear her or watch her (again), I like her even more.
Eliminating struggle makes life meaningless. Parents shielding their kids from struggle are ruining them.
The struggle makes us feel alive. It makes us resilient. And it makes the triumph all the sweeter. Without it, we are dead inside.
I invite everyone to pray for the war-torn people of Ukraine and for all those who suffer due to this war and every conflict in the world, so that the long-awaited gift of peace may shine in our days.
