@BirdGuides I saw a lone female on the moorland edge around Ashworth Moor reservoir, above Heywood, LANCS, this spring when I usually have several breeding pairs and a good passage of Greenlands in late April / early lying May. None in autumn!!!!!!
@SwanwatchUk@peediepuss@CAWOSBirding@RareBirdAlertUK IMO itโs a plover as you can see a wing bar and darker edge to wing, also black line thro eye and white supercilium then dark cap. But white breast no black bar! It would be very useful if you could relocate wader and take more pictures
My grandpa who is 85 started making this rock map of Scotland in 1992.He collected rocks during amateur geology trips over 30 years. He says it had to be geologically correct and also aesthetically pleasing.He asked if I could share online as He wants to go viral so please share
