So we only have glimpses from Bible. Literal or metaphorical, neither is good. Near death experiences can be considered and they are REALLY NOT GOOD. So if one finds themselves in a “place” where the goodness of God is removed, including light, water, mercy, and they are there alone WITH INTELLIGENT GOD-LIKE BEINGS who HATE humans, with a “spiritual” eternal body that cannot die, the math is not good. There are warnings after warnings. People can laugh, mock, ridicule but none of that matters if you find yourself there. Your eternal soul is literally priceless. I’ve heard that regret is the worst pain of all. EVERYONE would be wise to take time to study what the ancient Scriptures reveal about this space and especially what Jesus said. The Good News is that anybody, no matter what they have done (as long as they have breath), like the thief on the cross, can call out to God, admit that they are marred and imperfect, and ask for Mercy. God wants everyone to have eternal LIFE (not eternal death), which is to be with God and his goodness, a free gift. Life with God is a gift, that costed God everything. Jesus, God in the flesh, took the worst the universe could offer, unjust suffering, unfair treatment, and murder. He did not have to do this, but he stepped into the brokenness to face Evil on its terms and overcame. No other God would dare do this. It’s an infinite cost that our God, the great Almighty, did on his own. He did it alone. Perfect man-God vs unadulterated Evil for the right to redeem individuals. Which individuals? Those with eyes to see that Jesus is the only way out. Very simple. God “buys” those who simply trust in Him and his “exchange”. A very complicated exchange made very simple. Each individual needs to forget whatever binds them to death: their culture, their mistakes, their ego/pride, their family, their past decisions, whatever it is and take the “exchange”! This has to be a free will decision, God cannot “cheat” by appearing to you or yelling in your ear. That would absolve free will. You have to weigh the “offer” in your own heart, and the evidence is “circumstantial”, no iron clad proof, again that would be cheating. The individual, YOU, need to make a decision of faith and trust for your soul. The warnings are there, you can ignore them, but the stakes are immeasurably high. Your eternal soul is the only thing that matters. Nothing else matters. Please keep an open mind and weigh the “evidence” for yourself, it does not matter what you believe, it only matters what is real. And if hell is real (whatever it is), it is NOT GOOD AND NOT WORTH IT. Be rational and make a good-faith step towards the God who says he does not lie, is good, kind, merciful, loving, joyful, and peaceful. He will not hide or run from you. Otherwise, once the cord is cut, then what will be will be. I hope that everyone with an honest heart thinks deep about these things. It’s really the ONLY decision in life, everything else is exponentially secondary.

The Bible undergirds all of Western Civilization. Everything from government structure, culture, progression and impact of society structure has significant foundation from the Bible view of the World. Good far outweighs bad. Individuals do not have to accept the religious understanding but cultures would be wise to study the history and literature. Why cultures did what they did and what we can learn from this. This is history and important for all to understand. It’s NOT good to throw out or ignore cultural foundations.

I have been following near death experiences for years (back when they were authentic) and I was shocked to learn that your thoughts “project” as if you were speaking. So no more “masks”. What you think, you are. Here people think one thing but say another. There, what they thought was known by everyone. Some experiencers were so horrified by their own awful thoughts that they themselves fled from goodnesss, fled from holiness. NOW IS THE TIME TO WORK OUT WHO YOU TRULY ARE. Get your thought life in order. Truly be good and pure. No hypocrisy. It takes practice. Most people don’t even realize they are two people. “Double minded” as the Bible puts it. I didn’t realize it in myself until this. People have no idea what an open book they really are. We are all sinners, needing to be born (and grow) again.
