Thank you & I’ll say it again… you have been, beyond any argument, the most extraordinary supporters at this entire tournament.

From a country of five and a half million people, you crossed oceans, packed out stadiums, dressed American streets in red and white and transformed every single fixture into a carnival of noise, pride and unshakeable joy.

Three decades away from football’s biggest stage, and yet you returned carrying no sense of entitlement: only pure, infectious energy.

Your team repaid every ounce of that devotion, reaching a first ever World Cup quarter-final in the nation’s history, smashing straight through the old ceiling of the last 16 that had stood since 1938 and 1998. a stunning knockout of Brazil to even get there (a nation Norway have somehow never lost to across World Cup history).

The Viking Row wasn’t just a celebration for your own players. It moved rivals. It captivated neutrals. It swept up the entire watching planet.

England brought the run to a close. But nothing can erase what unfolded here. The finest chapter Norwegian football has ever produced. Walk away with your heads held high.

It was the middle of the night, at about 1.30am, when Norway lost to England.

Yet thousands of Norwegians went to the Palace in Oslo and celebrated with one final Viking row.

They did not riot. They did not burn cars. They did not smash bus stops or glass windows of shops.

They smiled. The laughed. They saw the positive in their performance. They celebrated their heritage. They were proud of who they have been in the past and who they are today.

Norway might be out of the World Cup 2026 but they are in our hearts.

In the last three weeks, I think we have all fallen a little bit in love with Norwegians.

The Canadian government has rightly declared there is absolutely no basis for the U.S. administration's forced labour tariffs.

By weaponizing human rights as trade leverage, Washington was caught fabricating an economic crisis where none exists.

Canada holds the cards here, executing an essential geopolitical pivot away from the nation south of its borderr while exposing Washington's bad-faith tactics.

This reckless protectionism proves that the current White House administration does NOT represent true conservatism.

Traditional Republicans champion free markets, yet this administration relies on state-interventionist taxes. Genuine conservative lawmakers openly REJECT this distortion; Republican leaders like Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul previously broke ranks to vote against broad, inflationary tariffs.

On top of this, Washington’s accusations expose glaring American hypocrisy.....

While threatening Canada, the U.S. continues to import BILLIONS of dollars in goods connected to actual forced labour, such as Xinjiang cotton and solar panels, alongside electronics and cobalt from nations heavily flagged for systemic labor exploitation.

By firmly calling out these baseless threats against its sovereign supply chains, Canada is not merely defending its economy; it is exposing a desperate American regime that has alienated its allies, fractured its own party, and bartered what they call 'economic stability' for short-sighted political theater.

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: The Royal Belgian Football Association has released a statement in regard to Folarin Balogun being able to play against them.

"The Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) is astonished by FIFA's decision to declare suspended United States player Folarin Balogun eligible to play in the USA–Belgium match on Monday, 6 July at 5:00 p.m. (Seattle time)."

"FIFA bases its decision on Article 27 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code. This provision states that the FIFA Disciplinary Committee may decide to suspend the enforcement of a previously imposed disciplinary sanction."

"However, Article 66.4 of the same FIFA Disciplinary Code clearly provides that a red card (sending-off) automatically results in a suspension for the team's next match, as has been the case for all previous red cards issued during this FIFA World Cup."

"Furthermore, and irrespective of the above, the decision is in direct contradiction with the provisions of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Competition Regulations, as set out in Article 10.5:

"If a player or team official is sent off as a result of a direct or indirect red card (second caution), they will automatically be suspended from their team's subsequent match. In addition, further sanctions may be imposed."

"The automatic nature of such a suspension was also explicitly reaffirmed in FIFA World Cup 2026 Circular No. 16, which was distributed to all participating member associations on 12 May 2026."

"The same rule is reiterated at every FIFA World Cup 2026 Match Coordination Meeting prior to each match and is included in all FIFA World Cup 2026 workshop presentations.
