If you read anything today, check out what the DOJ released then quickly deleted documenting allegations of Trump’s statutory rape & his presence during the murder & disposal of her newborn baby in Lake Michigan. #TrumpEpsteinCoverup
@BarbLarochelle@DrBrianDay@ABDanielleSmith While incentivizing surgeons and anesthesiologists to work in the private system on easier surgeries so that they aren’t doing cancer surgeries or complex medically necessary surgeries!!
@YourAlberta Imagine if there were humans to intervene in person to overdoses... oh wait... you got rid of that.
Anyone who lives or works downtown carries Naloxone because you've farmed out actual, in-person OD response to the citizenry. We're not grateful.
@nut_meggy It's comical and wrong to suggest that children with special needs get anywhere near the appropriate amount of support in these classrooms. Also, why doesn't he mention the NWC?
@BeccaPolakSays You probably could have reposted an anti-UCP post that at least suggested that Smith was not evading responsibility for her own actions.
@WScafemirror ON and SK examples also illustrate why the NWC shouldn't be used as a bargaining tool in collective bargaining. There are other options available to end a strike + the NWC is incredibly unpopular. Which, I believe, the UCP is about to realize for themselves. #generalstrikeab
@WScafemirror This is wrong. Ontario backed down and Saskatchewan didn't have to use it, as it went through the courts instead. Those other instances pre-date jurisprudence interpreting the Charter to protect collective bargaining (2015). https://t.co/WVe3mHhsgN
@DuaneBratt Because the right to strike wasn't recognized as being protected under the Charter until 2015. Read the SCC's decision Sask Fed Labour. https://t.co/rCoNRcQnAX
@JasonOnTheDrums@nut_meggy The US data on how poorly children learn with teachers like this is astonishing. Something like losing 1/3 of a year each year that a child is "taught" by a non-teacher.
@disorderedyyc I mean, this is the reason why the Charter is a constitutional document, not a piece of legislation. It's harder (but evidently not that hard) to override it. #generalstrikeab
I hope that the Premier reconsiders her desire to invoke the “notwithstanding clause” in dealing with Teachers.
This very rarely used clause, stripping Canadians of civil rights, has no place in collective bargaining.
General strike would be a commensurate response.
