The Pearl of Africa.
#MyCranesJersey | #FreeyoFire
In 1908 Winston Churchill described Uganda as a land of extraordinary beauty, biodiversity and cultural richness, ‘The Pearl of Africa’.
This jersey design is inspired by the bold colors of the early 2000s Uganda Cranes jerseys to create an eye-catching design that is unmistakably Ugandan.
It’s a montage of what represents Uganda; the Nile river majestically flowing, Mount Rwenzori and its unique flora, coffee of which we are the largest exporters in Africa and the Uganda Cranes soaring above it all just taking in this breathtaking beauty.
The sleeve patterns draw inspiration from the Nile river represented on the Uganda Coat of Arms, black, yellow and red in their ultimate boldness to create a distinct image that will say out loud, ‘I am Ugandan’ across any country or tournament.
@DailyMonitor Unfortunately, we’ve associated ‘class’ with possessions. But I beg to differ, class is ideals; humility, Kindness, Courtesy, Calmness, Order, Compassion. What would it cost (non-monetarily) just to add plates?!! But, what do I know??!! 😊😊
