@LeaderRound Agree - but being in order may mean occasionally selling a player they’d prefer to keep because they can’t agree on a contract and his value is highest during the current window.
@Everton_Extra We’ve seen these type of international interviews from players before - fans can’t be arsed ‘holding on’ to a player who talks up leaving every time he’s on international duty.
@ALANMYERSMEDIA I think X is a special case whereby players should essentially ignore most of what is posted here. It’s the social media punching bag. Just look at the difference in comments across the different social media platforms - it’s nowhere near as disrespectful on others.
@MeDoyle88 Spending money on a young player with a high ceiling and resale value is exactly what they should be doing.
Negotiating lower fees for the likes of Grealish and AWB who hold little resale value is the balance.
@Benjwinst I understand the desire to get the fee down, but this doesn’t feel like one you mess about with given half of the league is waiting in the wings.
Look for the savings in the aging players with no resale value (AWB, Grealish etc).
@Tony_Scott11@MichaelShoeBobs Isn’t it just as much about when and why? If the change is a reaction to a bad run of games, the pool of available managers is smaller and so likelihood of another failure is higher. This is pretty much the cycle Everton find themselves in.
@bluetom_tom Does he? In his interview after the season he said he didn’t understand why some fans were unhappy. That sounds like someone who thinks he’s done a decent job.
Who at @Everton signed that season ticket waiting list update off?
You’re just inviting fans to phone up and ask questions. I’ve got a feeling you’ve missed the variable paragraph out as the emails don’t say with certainty that you won’t get a season ticket this year.
@Holy_TrinityEFC Hahahaha fuckin hell - imagine thinking that is anything other than a central inbox, probably now managed by AI.
At this point you’re spending your time shouting Moyes Out to a Claude agent who is just deleting them.
@efctruth20802 This is what happens when you overly rely on statistics. When you’re watching you can see that Tarkowski’s desire to block shots often sees him drop off towards the goal, in the eyeline of the keeper. Not only is he hindering Pickford, but he’s playing the opposition onside.
@Everton What are you talking about. The CEO said he was “happily dissatisfied” and the manager said yesterday he didn’t understand why fans weren’t happy.
All inside the club are seemingly sound with the extra point.
@TacticallyMatt Honestly write him off at Everton whilst the current manager is in charge. He said around Feb that Dibling / Aznou would get opportunities in pre season and he’s stuck to it. Disgusting management of young talent.
