As #DiabetesAwarenessMonth draws to an end, we look at an #NIHRfunded evaluation which found referring people with pre-diabetes to the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme lowered their risk of type 2 diabetes by 20%, meaning 30,000+ of 1.2m participants avoided developing diabetes.
