He just keeps digging his hole. And lying too - he literally spoke out repeatedly for Ukraine and went to Ukraine.
But Gaza apparently, nope, that’s too political and bad for ‘families’. Hypocrite.
ive noticed that llm slop has become more acceptable lately. we're constantly feeding our brains this output, and its degrading what we consider quality. slop is prominent at a scale never before seen, so keep your standards high folks!
@LukeParkerDev I am a bit between both as well as I don't use RTL layouts. Just since the file tree starts from left->right, it should be reversed as well.
@LukeParkerDev Overall is good, not sure if you are already working on those:
- Close tab "x" icon should be on the left
- Next/Prev icon button in the diff panel should be in the opposite directions
- Not sure about this, but i think we should change directions for the files tree as well
Amongst my friends, Spotify is the lowest quality consumer app we still pay for. It certainly hasnt gotten noticeably better in the last couple years (arguably worse). So, this is not the positive look Ant and Spotify are spinning here.
Bigger picture, this is the problem with a lot of AI reporting. It reports completely meaningless metrics like deploys per day or LoC. Why don’t we start reporting consumer satisfaction reports? Actually end state research results.
All the no nuance AI people always come out and think that this is anti AI. Again, I think AI is great and Claude is great. But this is bad marketing and makes both look like clowns.
I yearn for an era where we return to the idea that creating great experiences is the most important thing.
The reason this is getting dunked on is anyone who has been a Spotify user for years has seen quality (perceived or not) slowly decline.
I think we’re in the part of the cycle where AI is making the average product *worse*, not better. I hope we make it to the other side.

I'm honestly pumped for a software update that's mostly just combing through the fine details, performance improvements, etc. Liquid Glass and a lot of recent design elements have felt sloppy. The fact that "same corner radius in every Mac app" had to be an announced feature is wild. Very ready for a cleaner, more efficient MacOS, iOS, etc.
