Maybe I’m stuck in 2006, but nothing gets me quite as hype and pissed off at the higher education system as Accepted (2006). If you watch the big monologue by @justinlong at the end and don’t get chills, I just can’t relate.

So what I’m saying is the South Harmon Institute of Technology is actually a really good model for education and we should be working towards that. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

And yeah! Your college experience is what you make it, and you could try to pivot your learning to something like that, but the pressures that college students have to get good grades and pass an exam and have extracurriculars is so high it makes actual learning a sacrifice.
