I hit the ground HARD… and for a second, staying down would’ve been easier. But I didn’t fight this long just to let one fall decide how the story ends.
So I got back up and kept moving. 🦾
Falling is part of the journey. Staying down is a choice.
My pull up game strong on this bike…
District Attorney Hillar Moore has a team of Black canvassers placing signs at empty homes in Black neighborhoods. Knocking doors, leaving materials on the door and just dropping signs without permission.
It is to show a false level of support in our communities. It’s happening at properties listed by certain realty companies as well. It’s a weak tactic and you have the right to stop them from placing signs at empty homes.
The DA has been elected 18 years and never been challenged, he gets a challenger and the first week they start knocking in Black communities you begin flooding empty homes with signs.
I blew my horn on his worker because I don’t have time to listen to BS. They just pulled up and dropped that sign within 5 minutes but he didn’t know it was happening. Yet he was the leader of the crew.
One of Hillars other workers told me she supports me as well and they won’t know who she votes for. Listen, I understand we all trying to make it. Sometimes we have to see the bigger picture and not help people who are silent about our issues.
If you support me, support the candidates I support, if you think things need to get better electing all the same people won’t make it better.
I’m supporting @RKeithThompson for a Safe more Just Baton Rouge and because he’s willing to earn the vote of the people of this parish.
Comment if you need a yard sign and click the link in my bio to support Ryan, you see what he’s up against.
Make sure all the people see the games.
We got work to do.

Hey Cousins in Jacksonville, FL
These beautiful ladies have opened a Primary Health Care office for the community. The clinic aims to act as a true healthcare home rather than treating patients like numbers.

On April 22, 2018, James Shaw Jr. walked into a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee, expecting nothing more than breakfast. Minutes later, g*nfire erupted inside the restaurant.
Four people had already lost their lives, and the g*nman was still carrying an AR-15 style rifle. Most people would have run. Shaw made a split-second decision that changed everything.
Unarmed and acting purely on instinct, Shaw charged the g*nman. He grabbed the rifle by its burning hot barrel with his bare hands and fought to take control of the weapon.
His hands were badly burned, but he refused to let go until the rifle was out of the attacker's hands. The g*nman fled, and Shaw's extraordinary courage almost certainly prevented even more innocent people from being k*lled.
The country praised him as a hero, but Shaw never accepted that title.
He said he was simply trying to survive and protect the people around him. Instead of seeking fame, he launched a fundraiser that collected more than $200,000 for the victims' families. He continued speaking about healing, kindness, and supporting communities affected by violence.
Today, the headlines have faded, and many people no longer remember the man who risked everything for complete strangers. But courage like James Shaw Jr.'s should never be forgotten.
The fight for power in the South is real. Black youth must grasp the threat to their political voice and the urgent need to vote to protect it. #VotingRights#BlackYouth#PoliticalPower
Happy birthday, @BarackObama! 65 never looked better. Every day, you make me a better person, and I’m thankful for all the ways you show up for our family and our country. Love you. ❤️
A hardworking everyday guy—not an NBA or NFL star, doctor, or lawyer—bought his dad a new truck after the old one broke down. This heartfelt gift is his way of saying “Thanks, Dad… I love you.”

Sidney Poitier demanded one condition before filming "In the Heat of the Night." That single decision changed how Hollywood portrayed Black men forever.
Sending prayers and love to all those laid off today by ESPN. So many of you have poured your life into that company, & I know how you’re feeling right now.
My hope is as this door closes another opens for you all. God bless!
Republicans added voter suppression provisions from the SAVE America Act to their bill on congressional stock trading.
This cynical move is exactly why so many people are fed up with Washington.
I remain committed to passing legislation that bans Members of Congress, their spouses, and dependent children from trading or owning individual stocks.
Today, we voted once again to stop Donald Trump’s illegal war with Iran.
This war has been a strategic and costly failure for our nation.
18 American service members are dead and hundreds more have been injured.
Iran’s regime remains entrenched, America’s diplomatic leverage has been diminished, and Americans are facing higher costs from the gas station to the grocery store.
We must end this war as soon as possible and address the pressing issues facing the American people here at home.
Vaccines are one of the most important medical advancements in modern history.
As a doctor, I have seen firsthand just how important and effective they are in preventing diseases that have claimed millions of lives, including measles.
Successful public health campaigns drove up MMR vaccination rates across the country, leading measles to be declared eliminated in the United States in 2000.
What we are seeing in California and across our nation is entirely preventable and a tragic consequence of the anti-vaccine disinformation promoted by RFK Jr.
The MMR vaccine is safe, effective, and proven to prevent measles.
Talk to your doctor, check your family’s vaccination status, and encourage your friends and loved ones to do the same.
Together, we can reverse this dangerous trend.
