If your life depended on it, which option would you choose? (All in their prime)
1. Tiger Woods to make a 6-footer.
2. LeBron James to make a free throw.
3. Adam Vinatieri to make a 50-yard FG.
4. Lionel Messi to make a penalty kick.
Joe Gallo is going to be the name that everyone mentions here, and while I think there are limits to what a program can be in a power conference if the athletic department isn't going to invest financially, I think the funky zone that Gallo plays can be an equalizer.
I dunno if this is controversial or not, but coaches who have recruits do photo shoots with trophies that previous staffs won at that school are corny.
You have a part in winning it? Cool.
If not, go win one so you can start using it.
Fairfield is on their way to 4-9, with their 4 wins being by a combined 14 points to teams ranked on average 312 in kenpom.
Even as a Chris Casey hater, I'm impressed by how fast this downturn went.
Mizzouri, TCU, Temple, Clemson, California, UMASS, Virginia Tech, St. Bonaventure, Valpo all in the mix for 6โ8 ๐จ๐ฆ Frank Mitchell, who was 4th in the NCAA in rebounding this season averaging 12.1 PPG, 11.6 RPG on 56% FG for Canisius. @NphScouting
A good social presence isnโt a requirement for a coach, but look at what it has done for Fairfield Womenโs team. Coach deserves everything coming her way but team promotion by her and especially her staff take you the extra mile.
