i am once again asking why the fuck we take taxes from 15-17 year olds paychecks when they aren’t allowed to vote bc to me that sounds a little bit like taxation without representation
My heart is just absolutely broken. For women, for the LGBTQ+ community, for the families of the children who passed away in Uvalde, for anyone negatively affected by Texas’ overall decision. My heart aches so much. We deserve so much better, I’m so sorry.
I wanted to send a message but, instead, the state of Texas sent me a message: my daughter’s murder wasn’t enough. Just know, you fucked with the wrong mom. It doesn’t end tonight. I’ll fight until I have nothing left to give. Lexi’s legacy will be change.
Women in Texas deserved better. Children in Texas deserved better.
Beto O’rourke deserved better.
You’re disgusting if you voted for Abbott or if you didn’t even vote at all.
If you are Anti-Abbott and did not vote you are part of the problem. Women, y’all someone fought for us to be able to vote. Why didn’t you go out to the polls!?!?! I am heartbroken.
Texas voters failed children, teachers, women, our healthcare, etc. But so did everyone that didn’t get their ass up & vote. I am so disappointed in so many loved ones & friends who decided to do nothing to move TX in the right direction. My heart hurts in disappointment.
As a woman, I’m scared. As a Hispanic woman, I’m scared. As a future educator, I’m scared. As a future mom, I’m scared. Beto worked so hard. He deserved this. #BetoForABetterTexas
The fact that Uvalde still voted red after the lack of action and empathy from greg while Beto made every effort to show his support for that county baffles me. The poor families of the children that died I can’t imagine their pain right now
