Today’s @Panathlon Merseyside - West Derby Schools Network - Primary SEND Panathlon Challenge event at @GreenbankSports - 42 pupils from 6 schools attended. Great morning session with them. Congrats to Lister Junior School @listerjuniors of West Derby won this event by 4 points instead of Mab Lane School @MabLanePE . Well done to them. Thanks to 3 volunteers from Abbots Lea and 3 individuals to help this event made successful this morning!

In PE today we continued with our ball skills, we split into teams and took it in turns to be spectators - judging our friends ball skills! We bounced high and low, using one hand and two hands trying our best to control the ball! @MissEdgeMLP @MabLanePE

Our first gymnastics lesson this year was spent recapping some key terminology and techniques that we covered last year! We practised our balancing, jumps and ways of travelling before combining them into sequences to perform! @MabLanePri@MabLanePE
Y4 showed fantastic focus in gymnastics this week! 🏃♂️🤸♀️ We practised jumping and landing with control - taking off and landing on two feet. We also used the springboard to practise our straddle! Great technique and teamwork all round! 👏@MabLanePE@MabLanePri
