@PinkyndTheGainz@0x_swag@AskSurplus We are discussing that a little but the liq that we recover is directly from the deposits. So it's a question of whether it's fair for the liq from the people who opt to migrate should be diluted by an airdrop to those who don't help with the liq recovery.
@jessepollak@AskSurplus Excited to be leading this!
Would love to see this kind of tokenization cross the chasm. Have been thinking a lot about how to make it easier for founders outside of crypto to embrace this kind of thing...
Thanks for the summary and feedback! And for being part of the community for a long time and deciding to stay through the migration 🙏.
> Smart contract risk
We'll try to share the contracts in a few days for people to review/audit.
> mint authority
We'll likely use a multisig that requires 3/4 signers.
> arbitrage, front-running
I think the way we're designing it -- migration itself as an atomic function, and keeping holders and LP 1:1 with the state of the old holders and LP -- removes any opportunity for arbitrage and front-running.
Surplus has built an incredible product and community.
We’re proud that Bankr played a role in helping them bootstrap early funding and attention to get things off the ground.
This is what it’s all about. Helping great teams build something real.
Excited for their next chapter!
@JustMQW@AskSurplus lol noted.
For anything impacting buyers/sellers directly we have been and will continue to prioritize their feedback. And yeah no sellers are asking to get paid in Surplus.
@0xWives@toptickcrypto@AskSurplus We are thinking of the 35% as team/treasury.
And the 15% more as "just in case we need it for fundraising later, its better to mint now and not use / burn later than it would be to not have it"
Does that change your perspective here @0xWives ?
Well I'm more thinking;
1. deep 1:1 LP with a no-op token
2. Similar to what we are planning, when the liquidity migration happens we can treat the tokens in the no-op LP similar to tokens in the migration contract.. remove them from LP and sell them to recover liquidity from the old token LP.
I guess this gets a bit messier for tracking like the net amount that a user swaps into the no-op LP, but it's probably doable.
