Should have read ‘continued supple and expansion are not the same thing’, as you observe. ‘He’ does say expansion, but is that the correct word choice? Any ‘new’ fossil fuel project is labelled expansion but may simply ensure supply

As the perfect WAS the enemy of the good for so long, it is now not clear there is a good option at all, but surely something is still better than nothing?
