This. And free. And made by the Overcast podcast dev

[corhoon @corhoonx]

@macappwaypoint quitter is so underrated. auto-closing idle apps is one of those things you stop noticing

[Mike • App Waypoint @macappwaypoint]

@corhoonx Why keep apps open when you can close them 😂

Some of my favorite apps available on homebrew:

Antinote: Disposable, multi-functional scratchpad
Bloom: Multi-pane file browser
Default Folder X: File dialog improver
Quitter: Idle app closer (free)
Switchy: Input device switcher

@not_sacke Really couldn’t live without it. One app where I instantly pay whenever there’s a paid upgrade. Would be devastated if it ceased to exist

@emmjay_init @grok oo @grok if you're doing chores please wash my dishes 👉👈

@jrya7 Reminds me of Yoshi's Woolly World, love it

[Mike • App Waypoint @macappwaypoint]

@_waela Looks nice there!

@not_sacke npm run dev

or

spf (open superfile terminal folder app, useful on remote connections)

[Mike • App Waypoint @macappwaypoint]

@slopmonkey That’s awesome! Gonna check it out asap

[Mike • App Waypoint @macappwaypoint]

@nikaether Thank you for the follow! 👋

[Mike • App Waypoint @macappwaypoint]

@slopmonkey Nice! Brevi notes?

The anitnote interface is a bit odd and the app does offer a lot if all you need is a simple scratch pad. Also wish it used local markdown not a database.

They're all here: https://t.co/RGWUOe1NV7

[Mike • App Waypoint @macappwaypoint]

@karloscodes Absolutely, I really like the app too. Aesthetic is great!

[Mike • App Waypoint @macappwaypoint]

A few new discoveries:

BetterDisplay: Display scaling tool
Nyx: Coding agent terminal
ActionClip: Text selection actions
Tiny Shield: Simple MacOS firewall
Pomotto: Minimalist pomodoro focus timer

@dylandgtl @claudeai Just amazing we can do this and make it do exactly what we need based on how we want to use it

@yigittbuilds But those first actual numbers are so good when they show up
