@pragmatist22 Yes, I do think an effective tax rate of 30% is fair.
However that is income not taxable income. You could super salary sacrifice $500 pw and reduce your tax payable by $7,320 pa.
Interesting you think 15% is modest when you save but 30% is unfair when you pay.
Have some respect for the game and yourselves.
As a fan would the players want to watch the ending to this game? Remember fans indirectly pay your salaries.
Less fans = less sponsors / advertising
Less sponsors / advertising = Less salaries.

@alexaphilippou any thoughts on article https://t.co/8bqsJCZfXC? That's a tough argument for Unique Thompson (or any player irrespective of sex) to win.
@BloodyElbow@RUSHY86 The better fighter won, no doubt, but that wasn't a flurry that was full-strength calculated strike aimed and connected to the back of the head. The very next strike dropped him. Why have the rule.
@simonahac I didn't agree then and I don't agree now with the stage 3 tax cuts however they should honor their pre-election commitment. If you want someone to blame, how about the voters who choose the LNP in the 2019 election, which wedged the ALP into making the decision to support them.
@alexaphilippou@ESPNStatsInfo Have you got a stat for "teams to win on the road in Game 1 of a best-of three series" before this season? That also happened twice this playoffs.
@AmyRemeikis 1. HECS should be a 'thing', Medicare & NDIS is more important to fund. 2. Indexing to CPI should be a thing, most years it not 4%. 3. What's negotiable for me is the threshold you have to start paying it back, they should legislate it to be X% of Medium Full Time Earnings.
@scottyk411@GraemePyle2712 @GeorgiaHoney4 @gabriellechan@AmyRemeikis While he created the content, Barilaro's case against him was settled for 100k in court costs with an apology. It was Google, who refused to remove the said content, who were ordered to pay him 750k from a separate case. https://t.co/AqvpaCtUcY
@QandA I assume you identify the questions beforehand and also provide them to your guests in advance. If they intend to cite evidence (e.g. AUS climate impact) they should quote the report and provide link to it on your website. #QandA
@blanchard_jenni It's not like this is the first time in Australian Federal Elections that a party has won government with a lower primary vote. It has actually happened 6 times before with LNP the beneficiary on 4 occasions, including the last time in 1998 when Howard beat Beazley.
@AdamBandt@AdamBandt what I would support is to legislate the Student Loan threshold at a fixed % of the median Full Time adult earnings (MFTAE). A graph showing changes in threshold by year compared to MFTAE. Also a projection of how much it would cost.
@AdamBandt While I agree in principle, I don't support this idea. People agreed to pay the fees before they enrolled. Also as a major party you can't view polices in a vacuum. What is the opportunity cost? This revenue can be spent on higher priorities than free education.
