My first job was at 17 and I worked with a bunch of 35 to 45 yr old women. They nicknamed me the kid. I learned so much from them. Sometimes I look back and cringe because I was literally some dumb kid. But they didn’t treat me like that. They ushered me into adulthood with respectful guidance and at times harsh reality. I’m 48 now and they iare and will always be the best co workers I have ever had.
