Rounding out month as first place in singles and doubles in my gyms hyrox style comp.
I’m unbelievably proud of myself. Started out trying to loose weight in January last year and have gotten my fitness to such a high level.
Can’t wait to see where I am in 12 months.

You may see your schedule limitations as a disadvantage. I see it as an advantage.
If you only have time in the early AM to train, that sharpens your thinking, forces you to sleep well & make good decisions
Our mind responds well to structure and our body thrives on routine
@runliftrunlift I find running on heart rate is so mentally taxing! Having to constantly check my watch and adjust pace is a massive effort.
That being said I’ve seen some benefit from it overall so still trying to keep it as part of my run training.
@runliftrunlift Around every 6/7 weeks (or when my body really clearly tells me) I factor in a complete deload week for strength and running, helps me to stay on track and keep the progress rolling!
Set myself a brand new half marathon PR last weekend.

Really proud how that came together and genuinely feel like I’m going to be able to better it once again.
Time to get back to training.

@hybridathlete I don’t disagree but I am a bit mind blown by just how many people sell some kind of course or training plan, feels like everyone with some kind of fitness account ends up heading that way.
Maybe I should start one 😂
