The reaction to the MLA's video just shows the widespread reach & knowledge that consumers in India have on pharmaceutical drugs in India.
From the use of the Rs.500 note to a credit card & what tablet can actually break, the knowledge is second to none. One respected journalist even shared a video of Dolo to confirm the type of tablet it could be.
Pablo & the makers of Narcos will be proud!

VIDEO | US President Donald Trump (@POTUS) says, "... Look at what happened in Venezuela. And by the way, we're helping Venezuela. They had a tremendous earthquake. A lot of people were killed, and unbelievable damage in Caracas. And we have a lot of people over there helping. But Venezuela has been fantastic. We've had a great relationship. It was a one day war. We hit them so hard, and it was a one day war. Now we've taken out millions of barrels of oil, and we've paid for the oil many times over... And it's really, I mean, outside of what happened last night, that was terrible, it was a big earthquake, knocked down buildings. But outside of that, it's really a happy country again."

Met the new Bengaluru minister today at Vidhana Soudha. No selfie :) only discussion. Two principles and two suggestions from among a list of things we spoke about.
(a) Given the weaknesses in urban governance, we have to tackle public problems through greater participation of citizens. Please encourage this.
(b) Low hanging fruit will be easy to identify and pluck once we are clear about the tree. Set clear goals for each entity that can only be achieved through collaboration with others. The habit of collaborating will emerge.
(c) Inter-modal connections at all Metro stations can be pursued by the corporations and Metro working together. Both report to you.
(d) Buses are not in your control bus stops are. Please establish signage, shelter and seating at all stops.
Thank you, @krishnabgowda for the time and discussion. Like many others in the city, I would like to see you succeed in raising the bar for governance in the city. People still remember the last 'Krishna' that championed the city!
@nagarjund My friend came from Chennai & said that he can't imagine Poes garden or Boat club area having such bad roads. He was like if this prime part of the City, what are other areas like?
All I could do was smile.
@ChristinMP_ Very poor road on both sides from alamen to double road and from double road to lalbagh front gate road is unevenly laid I guess this engineers ve not studied . So much uneven that water is stagnant even at time of inspection also in der own photo der is depression
Ok Bangalore Twitter need help.
My cousin is undergoing cancer treatment at HCG (near Mission Road).
He needs blood donations and we have exhausted our family members.
If anyone is willing to donate please ping me - I will share details. Any blood group is fine - the hospital just needs replacement.
(Please RT for karma. We need as much blood as possible)
It’s a politically risky and unpopular decision. But, necessary for the sake of Bengaluru.
At least some footpaths should be reserved for pedestrians. I request people to respect the fundamental right of public to decent footpath. Pls voluntarily remove encroachments or obstructions. It is the law. It may inconvenience you. But, it is for the larger good.

A lot of the traffic is because of the really bad condition of the roads. I don't think there is one road in Bangalore that is complete without any bumps/ bad surface, good markings & reflectors. It's a shame for such a big city.
Bengaluru Minister KBG orders for decongestion of traffic signals, says there are potholes, humps and buses stopped around signals that leads to slow movement and people having to wait multiple times as fewer vehicles pass.
Another Congress leader caught allegedly assaulting a woman PDO officer.
Watch till the end, he nearly kicks her for recording the incident.
Waiting to see if the Home Minister finds a way to pin this on the RSS.
@BlrCityPolice, any chance of a CCTV timeline and minute-by-minute analysis for this incident as well?
Are tunnel roads and elevated corridors necessary? Will they help? The government's view, reiterated this week by the new minister @krishnabgowda is they are also one part of the solution set, and we need an integrated approach across modes. I agree. But we're not really investing in the other modes adequately. Buses and walking are massively underfunded, and Metro is emerging too slowly and without the focus on first and last mile. Design competence is missing even in the road projects. We need to fill these gaps. Only then we can point to an integrated approach.
Learn Bengaluru. Do not repeat the mistake of Mumbai.
The solution for the N-S corridor is the Red Line metro, not the car-only Tunnel Road.
Do not believe the falsehoods of politicians and incompetent B-SMILE.
🙏🏽
Bangalore Traffic Police blocked me 😆
Thanks, @PriyankKharge. Though I was under the impression that asking questions was everyone's right.
So much for tolerance, I guess.
Looks like the "ಅಯೋಗ್ಯ" Joker is running a full-time circus 🤡🎪
Approximately ₹5500 crore has been spent on Bengaluru’s roads in 3 years. We have 98% potholes and 2% roads to show for it.
I met with Minister @krishnabgowda with 2 non-negotiable demands.
1. In 30 days: Publish a White Paper which provides clarity on road repair spending that has happened over the last 3 years.
2. In 60 days: Launch a live Infrastructure Dashboard with clear timelines, budgets, and contractors before the next ₹2,000 crore is allocated.
The problem was never funding, it’s accountability.
The reason Bengaluru's roads are in poor condition is not because contractors don't know how to build roads, but because the tendering and contract allocation process is mired in corruption and misgovernance.
50% of the contracts in the past have been awarded to one agency called KRIDL, which is a corrupt organization designed to siphon off money, and which currently is under investigation by ED.
For the other 50% of the projects, the contractor is pre-decided (relative of the politician)!
Competent & capable contractors who want to focus on quality work are threatened with delayed payments and kept out of the tendering process.
The result is predictable. Roads are built poorly, roads are dug up repeatedly, public money is spent & siphoned off, and citizens continue to suffer from potholes and flooding.
This is not an engineering problem. It is a governance problem.
Until there is transparency and accountability in the tendering process, Bengaluru will continue to spend thousands of crores without getting the infrastructure it deserves.
The Bengaluru Development Minister needs to ask questions to the Ministers & Politicians, including from his own party (and not the Officials), to get the right answers.
I agree. I moved to Bangalore after 4 years & now live in Rachenahalli.
It's sad to see zero planning. Big apartment blocks of 1000+ apartments and really narrow roads.
Change will only happen if our Urban planning is done without pandering to Politicians real estate interests. But is that possible?
Everyone blames unplanned urbanisation for flooding, traffic and other civic issues. But how can the same flawed system be allowed in new areas that are developing in the periphery of big cities in India. Narrow roads, blocked drains, no footpaths. Govts needs to plan growth!.
