Hi @OfficialBMRCL
Previously Green Line trains were moved to serve the busy corridor of Purple Line.
Now that the Blue Line train has arrived, kindly shift it to Yellow Line which needs more coaches.
Rgds,
Commuter
@DKShivakumar@mlkhattar - Pls make this happen 🙏🏽
The old Kannada proverb comes alive with BMRCL's new proof.
Yellow Line (Insufficient coaches)
ಹಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಕಡಲೆಯಿಲ್ಲ
Blue Line (Trackwork not ready)
ಕಡಲೆಯಿದೆ ಹಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ
Why can't BMRCL deploy the Blue Line coaches on Yellow Line, Bengaluru?
Today, Bengaluru has 7,00,000 additional vehicle trips & metro fares are unfairly high.
Why?
Due to metro Blue & Pink line delay & coach shortages.
Govt is also misdiagnosing the issue & prioritising building of unscientific Tunnel & elevated roads.
Bengaluru wake up now🙏🏽
Storage of these coaches will incur costs.
But don't worry.
Until the tracks are completed which is whenever it happens, you will be bearing these costs via unfair high fares.
Bravo Bengaluru commuters.
You truly bail out BMRCL from the consequences of its inefficiencies.
The 1st #BlueLine (airport corridor) train is here!
All 6 coaches reached the Baiyappanahalli depot this morning.
Except for luggage racks, it's similar to the #PinkLine train.
The train won't run on the mainline soon as the tracks are not ready!

Bengaluru - Be Vigilant
If the new CM persists with the former DCM's Tunnel Road proposal it will be an unmitigated disaster.
@RahulGandhi - Bengaluru will never forgive INC if the foolish Tunnel Road (actually a real estate project) is imposed.
@RahulGandhi The trust is on the test now.
If the Karnataka Government persists with the Tunnel Road proposal in Bengaluru INC would have breached the trust placed in them.
For the last 3 years, the current CM in his role as DCM failed to listen to science. He kept citizens in anxiety.
DKS— a factory of bad ideas— has proposed destructive Silk Board to Hebbal Rs 22k cr underground tunnel
What’s worse is Adani is leading contender for project
RaGa— what say you?
INC has always been party of lies & hypocrisy— when bad ideas & big money meet, B’luru & KA suffer
Auto & taxi drivers are ignorant.
Commuters are indifferent.
And so Aggregators are having a jolly time.
Did you know that the 2016 Karnataka Aggregators Rules are still contested at the HC?
'No coercive action' interim order is the magic that protects the arbitrary fares.
Maharashtra Govt banned bike taxis for the first time in 2023. There was even a high court order to that effect.
But they continued
They were banned for the second time in July 2025. This time a minister even posted videos on social media banning them
But they continued. One company even sponsored an event conducted by the same minister's son
Then they were banned for the third time in Dec 2025. An RTO inspector filed an FIR, seized some bikes and everything.
They still continued
In Mar 2026, The govt definitively banned bike taxis. They put out a govt notice, officially revoked their licences, which for some reason were still active despite all previous bans.
Yesterday while waiting for an Uber, I saw 5 bikes make pickups in front of me. There was even a case where a couple, who were going somewhere, booked two bike taxis and went together
I guess at this point in time, this bike taxi "ban" is like Article 51A of the Indian Constitution, which urged people to protect public property
It exists on paper, but everyone ignores it
Bengaluru metro commuters were tricked to "accept" the 72% fare hike.
First BMRCL tried to bury the trick by not publishing FFC Report.
Next it deployed obfuscation when mistake was pointed out.
Now BMRCL is 😶
@DKShivakumar@mlkhattar - Direct BMRCL to correct metro fares.
Bengaluru needs resilient infrastructure, not vanity tunnel roads.
How much more rain is required to shake the conscience of the bureaucrats and politicians?
#PublicTransportFirst
Anticipating heavy traffic due to Chief Minister’s swearing-in ceremony at Lok Bhavan, the state government has declared half a day holiday on June 3 for employees working in Vidhana Soudha, Vikasa Soudha and the MS Building.
#Bengaluru
3 years ago Bengaluru needed the expeditious completion of Red Line metro.
BBMP planted the unnecessary & unscientific Tunnel Road idea parallel to the Red Line.
Today, Red Line remains unapproved & the Tunnel Road has morphed into a real estate project.
@RahulGandhi - Why?
Congratulations Bengaluru Metro Commuters👏🏽
You have bailed out (via unfair higher fares) BMRCL from a crisis.
Today BMRCL paid (or already paid) ~INR.90 crs as 1st repayment to ADB Ph 2a & 2b loan.
Blue & Pink line yet to open, so no revenues, but loan repayment has started.
This project cannot go ahead.
Why?
Because it is a real estate project.
How do we know?
Read the Draft Concession Agreement.
Bengaluru - Wake up and importantly #Speakup
. @DKShivakumar Cabinet to decide on Adani bid for Bengaluru tunnel road project
B-SMILE, executing the project, forwarded the file to state govt on May 29, the day Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot formally accepted @siddaramaiah 's resignation.
