285 crores for utility shifting, land acquisition & "other overheads"

Why can't this section be double decker with Red Line?

In simple terms this is what Finance Dept told B-SMILE/BDA on the proposed short tunnel road.

1) Planning is dodgy & unreliable

2) Solely focuses on vehicular movement & totally ignores public transport

3) It simply shifts congestion to another point ahead

This is what IISc Prof T V Ramachandra says about Hebbal Lake & Tunnel Project - PLEASE LISTEN.

Hebbal region = WATER EXPLOITED BLOCK. Groundwater fell from <100ft to 1800ft after lakes were removed. No groundwater now.

Tunnel project alters lake integrity = Violates Wetland Rules 2010/2017. Even Central Govt says you CANNOT alter physical integrity of lake.

Tunnel won't solve traffic, but WILL deprive right to water - Art 21 violation.

When unscientific project & drainage fails, result is Brand Bengaluru failure. Save Hebbal Lake = Save Bengaluru water security.
