One of the most infuriating double standards is the idea that women are responsible for cooking in the private sphere (for their families and others) but men dominate the world of professional cooking for other people where they get paid
their birthday comes I just text them. I think we change over time. I am not the same as I was in 2016. I am a completely different person. I read the quote, "Time changes people" and this phrase resonated with me completely.
Being born in this generation and observing how people treat love, not as sacred, and rare, but as something easily replaceable or disposable. Makes me realize more and more that I’m simply an old soul, and a lover at heart, I see real love as extraordinary and hard to come by.
aftercare in relationships in general isn't discussed enough. if we get into a huge fight or disagreement, there needs to be aftercare. if we have some wild sex, there needs to be aftercare. if we have a series of super deep conversations, there needs to be aftercare
never regret the love you have shown people. if you showed up in someone’s life with nothing but gentleness, kindness and compassion - it’s not on you if they couldnt return it. the fact you’re abundant enough to express love loudly and unapologetically is beautiful. don’t change
