@OrgCommChat The desired field is agents of athletes, this is totaled at 36. None being female. I have had personal contact with a hand few of female agents and am aware of many of the struggles I have to look forward to in the future
@KatherineBruck9@OrgCommChat In comparison you run the risk of being a female in the industry bashed for not knowing enough, looks, improper opinions, and you truly do have to have more masculine communication habits
@Cpetlansky@OrgCommChat Encouraging women to continue to pursue these careers that are male dominant we can see a shift in the glass ceiling and equality for the role women play in both the work force and home life
@Cpetlansky@OrgCommChat Someone else touched on how new mothers are treated... pushing it a step further I believe it’s interesting how some companies offer Paid maternity leave or you see women moving to more online or work from home careers that lead to flexibility. I believe by
@xitlaaalic@OrgCommChat This past semester I was a nanny for two kids, who were... to say the least... terrible. They would kick me, etc. everyday I would put a smile on my face and reshow up. I feel like there is added stress and burnout that comes, none the less I don’t understand how my stay at home
@Cpetlansky@OrgCommChat I really like the idea of being able to put up fun pictures or personalize your workspace. Personally reading the beginning of this article mentioning the buttons I would feel as if I was in grade school again and it would diminish a level of professionalism for me
@DrewHil03848559@OrgCommChat Personally, I can see how working when you aren’t suppose to can cause you to feel unmotivated, and begin to make you enjoy your job a little less.

@DrewHil03848559@OrgCommChat TCU does a great job of sharing mental health advice with TCU athletes, I think this is another example of how TCU cares about the student (or athlete) before their accomplishments and other universities should take this into consideration, this could lead to more compassion
@KatherineBruck9@OrgCommChat I believe this eliminates personal connection, but can validate the work the employee is doing & make them feel like it is helping them grow in their professional career Amazon is an amazing company& alllowing employees to keep moving up only makes a company stronger
@dalzell_piper this is a great way to encourage a positive and welcoming work environment, this can lead to community and relationships as well. I worked for the national forestry and they encouraged you to take a 10 minute walk break and there was a group that would go everyday together
@OrgCommChat I believe the exosystem has the biggest influence in our life. Many people separate their personal relationships from their work life, however you choose what industry you go into and that now defines who you are and how your coworkers work together and what boundaries lie
@littleWanic@OrgCommChat On the NFL. Whereas in reality it was referring to his journey in Hollywood and how it destroyed and shaped him. The perspective on the halftime show can influence your opinion on the NFL giving the performance an “okay” because the two are cohesive to one another
@littleWanic@OrgCommChat I never even thought of the halftime show as a separate organization or part until this. I believe they most definitely effect the two, going more in depth to this years performance, some people believed the performance to have almost a satanic meaning and that reflected
