I hope to teach 2nd grade and in the classroom experience I’ve had my mentor teachers use their technology to maintain classroom engagement through the use of programs like kahoot or vocabulary jeopardy.
A3: One way I think we can make technology more accessible to members of our community is to provide community hotspots in various locations around town and allow community members to rent out devices for those that do not have their own, especially students. #CSUBTEd@teachsci8
@teachsci8 A2: I think websites like Alexia are great ELA tools for new English Learners as it adjusts its difficulty according to skill so it’s always challenging our students.
@Menall10@teachsci8 Great point! I think that zoom and other conferencing apps have given us the capability to have that personal connection with our class even through distance learning.
@MariaSo56919116@teachsci8 Hey Maria! I’m sure you’re gonna love 1st graders! I had an opportunity to student teach in a class of first graders and they were awesome! I love the little ones. Nice to meet you! Good luck! 🍀
This afternoon’s #CoffeeEDU on September 23rd hosted by @Mrs_Campbell91 with #CSUBEDTE4200 classmates was awesome. Got some great advice on the digital portfolio we are currently working on and had a laughter fulfilled lunch at Blaze Pizza @teachsci8#CSUBTED
A1: It is important for us as future educators to know how to effectively connect with our students. Thankfully, technology offers us programs to communicate such as google meets and zoom to stay in contact with our students during distance learning. @teachsci8#edtech#csubted
