Simon Harris needs to learn how to pick up the phone 📞

Calls for his resignation are getting louder over his inaction & failure to contact the family of Harvey Morrison Sherratt.

But this isn’t an isolated case.

A few weeks ago, The Sunday Times reported that he never followed with Charlotte Fallon, the woman in Kanturk, after promising to do so.

And just this week, the family of Private Seán Rooney, who was killed by Hezbollah in Lebanon, warned Harris to speak “to” them before speaking “for” them.

Pick up the phone Simon. talk to people!!

(It may sound trivial, but in tough scenarios I often ask: what would Alex Ferguson do? the most personable manager… he knew all his staff, players & their partners, children & family situations…That’s the gap)

'This day is for the 48'

Today, jurors in the Stardust Inquest returned verdicts of ‘unlawful killing’ for each of the 48 young people who died in the nightclub on Valentine's Day in 1981.

Today the painfully slow and horribly drawn out process of finding justice for the tragic lives lost at the #stardudust has thankfully come to it's correct conclusion. Like Hillsborough to many years were allowed to pass with road blocks in the way. Today victory to the people.

Tomorrow, at the 48th minute, there will be a round of applause in the game at Croke Park, Thank you to the Dublin supporters for organising it. Also remembering Susan Morgan from Derry.
