As the temperature rises this week and the weather gets hotter, please remember to care for wildlife by leaving out a shallow bowl of fresh water for them 💚
@NaturalEngland We don't buy it. You're putting farmers over a barrel then claiming any culling decisions on them. Shame on you NATURAL England. You may need to rebrand...

Janet Street Porter & Nick Ferrari on ITV This Morning criticising @RickyGervais for celebrating the beautiful Foxes that visit his London garden.
They should be thankful if these wonderful animals visit our gardens!

Our new family. 💚💛
We hold each other up when the other is down, we wipe the tears, we cry together, we shout together.
We may be a hotchpotch, and at times, dysfunctional bunch.
But we are united and will always stand in solidarity for and with each other.
…we WILL move mountains 💪
For Grace. For Ian. For Barney.

A building in Dorking, Surrey, has been demolished, and with it, what may have been the largest known Swift colony in the area.

Two reports of animal cruelty towards young swans in a town in Derbyshire are being investigated.
The Derbyshire Rural Crime Team said an injured cygnet was found dead at Barker's Lock, off Awsworth Road in Ilkeston, on Monday 25 May.
The team said online reports had also been made of cruelty towards a cygnet at nearby Ilkeston Football Ground on Tuesday 19 May.
Issuing an appeal for information, a spokesperson said: "Two incidents. Same area. We need your help."
So @leicspolice know NOTHING about the antisocial behaviour @bbcemt news reported on in Melton Mowbray. Same as they ignore the open #drug dealing and known #dealers on #benefits in swanky mortgage free houses. Go figure.
This worries me SO MUCH. Our wildlife is under pressure from all angles and now this... @Protect_Wldlife@WildlifeMag@WildlifeTrusts@RSPB We can't ignore it for fear of being seen as racist. Is it on police agendas?
