Hi @x, please reinstate the @seamlessbayarea account! All we did was report a fraudulent account that was using our brand & name - we didn't violate any rules.

It's clearly a mixup. But it's been over 72hrs since our appeal; we still got no explanation of what rules we broke.1/2

@ericlaw It’s only necessary for folks who have a catch-all rule to begin with, works automagically otherwise. It’s been on the internal “BCC etiquette” page for the past 5+ years IIRC. Definitely not a perfect solution, but it’s made my life nicer so wanted to pass it along.

@CloudflareHelp I deleted my Cloudflare account (cleanup) and now I get marketing emails (ex: “Improve page load times with Cloudflare Polish”) and the unsubscribe and contact support links go to a login page…but my login no longer works. How to resolve?

@SwiftOnSecurity I checked with the experts and we’re definitely aware of and thinking through this scenario as part of our basic auth decommission work, and will share any updates in our ‘Basic Authentication and Exchange Online’ blog posts when we can.

@SwiftOnSecurity Correct; basic auth business EAS accounts won’t be upgraded to OAuth-based accounts; right now you have to remove and recreate them to do that. I know we’ve had discussions about that; not sure how they’ve evolved recently. Will check.
