Until palliative care is integrated into healthcare education and service delivery, end-of-life care will remain sub-optimal.
If we taught a week of cardiology in undergraduate education and then asked cardiologists to care for everyone with a heart problem, would that be ok?
Just to let all know that We have developed referral form to Lung Cancer CNS Team, now available to access on Trust Intranet.
Has also distributed to wards.
Please refer any suspected or known lung cancer patients.
We will provide specialist advice and support for wards/patients
Sometimes we forget to show our appreciation for those who have contributed to the improvement and delivery Respiratory Services. The NLCOP, pleural clinic,Nurse led clinics, referral pathways,PTL meetings and much more. Proud to be part amazing team β€
