We had a fantastic time visiting Barrhead Men's Shed. An impressive space for men to get together and connect while creating and repairing a whole range of items.

We teamed up with Liz, one of our Macmillan colleagues from Improving the Cancer Journey, to highlight the different ways we can support people living with cancer and their loved ones.
Fantastic to connect with so many people at a community event in Barrhead as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, and share information about the support we offer. Our Macmillan volunteers offer a supportive listening ear for anyone affected by cancer.

Members of our team attended a Talk Cancer Workshop given by Cancer Research UK this week. We heard about ways to reduce cancer risks, the positive impact of the 3 cancer screening programmes, and of early diagnosis. Thank you @CR_UK for a really useful session!
