Mail day! Thanks @DaleJr and @Jerkyboys_jerky, my lunch plans are made. Anyone who hasn't tried it needs to place an order right now, it is the best jerky you can buy!
@JTBerzering37@ArchivesDe@markmartin@irocofficial The car at Indy was a turd. Thankfully Dave Marcis was filling in for someone and wouldn't pass him, otherwise he would have lost the championship despite winning the first three.
@DocPunchESPN One of the nicest and most humble people I have ever met. Last time I saw him signing at an event, I stood and listened for an hour while he told stories and loved it. They don't make them like Dave anymore.
@ArchivesDe You are correct about the page and the post, there was a hell of a story written about him destroying this car at Bristol π. I finally blocked them yesterday so it wouldn't appear on my feed anymore lol.
@ArchivesDe He learned a lot and drove smart all day. Brought the car home without a scratch on it in the top 10. Big one or not, I'd say Paw Paw Dale is proud!
@markmartin Maybe you can lobby for the original Clash format to come back. Twenty laps on the Daytona oval, one invert, pole winners plus one wild card only. They killed The Clash when it got too big and inclusive because of sponsors wanting their cars on TV.
@ArchivesDe@rickmast22 What was the story with him originally being asked to take over the 3 instead of Harvick? I have known @rickmast22 my whole life, my grandfather raced against him on dirt. Would have loved to see him in a RCR car full time.
@ArchivesDe There are a million Dale pages across all platforms, this one stands above them all. It's quality content, often never seen before, aimed at educating the followers. I still learn things here regularly after all these years. No debates or drama, just total nostalgia.
@ArchivesDe@BassProShops I'll always pull for the 3, but I lost a lot of respect for Austin after Richmond. I love a good bump and run, but an intentional right hook is never ok. It's one of the only things Dale did I didn't care for, ironically also at Richmond with DW.
@nascarman_rr@DaleJr He originally ran the "Banjo" seat out of a Bronco, didn't he? Saw a clip one time of him recovering the seat cushion himself. When did he upgrade to a Mustang seat?
@ArchivesDe That's a proud Dad right there. Proud of the racing, but proudest of the education they were getting. He made it a point to call out their academic accomplishments. I don't believe I have ever seen an interview where he was this candid and detailed about his kids. Awesome find!
@DaleJr I'm guilty of remembering something was left off the order and running inside to grab it before they bring it out. In those cases, I'm not parking twice. It can sit in the pick-up spot for five mins since I am actually picking up an order π€£. Likely not the case with this lady.
@ArchivesDe I have really enjoyed seeing the pride and excitement Dale and Kelley have in making their Cup debut. This has been a long time coming, and I hope just the beginning of what is to come.
@drizz_81@ArchivesDe I remember when it became the Bud Shootout and he wasn't in it in '98. They instituted the "Earnhardt rule" so that all past champions were eligible from then on lol!
@ArchivesDe Is that cut back as far on the sides as the original? Seems like his helmet went further back and was rounded more in the cutouts. Awesome piece either way!
