I’ve been working on some things I can’t show lately, so it is nice to be able to show a page of sketches I’ve been doing the past few nights. #sketchbook#studies#portraits
This is the Battle of Hollow Glen.
One day Shadowpelt ventures out to defend the Kingdom of Luminara from the dark forces that have started taking over the land, when he meets Geàrr and learns of the evil Darkmaw and his minions who are the cause of all this evil.
Shadowpelt has met his match in Darkmaw!
This is a quick ink rough of Darkmaw, the evil wild boar character that is trying to take over the Kingdom of Luminara.
These characters will appear in an upcoming oil painting, and I can’t wait to bring this world to life.
Nothing to see here, just a sketch of a few different dragon breeds flying together.
Would you like to see me paint one of these dragon breeds?
Which one?
New Year, new logo.
This is Shadowpelt! He is an otter, but also a barbarian warrior. He combines my love of all things fantasy and whimsical, as well as one of my favourite animals and classes to play in #dnd
My latest oil painting - Attack on the Fairy Queen.
This #fantasy#faerie#oil#painting was done on a 20cm x 20cm panel, and took a few months to complete from concept to sketch, to underpainting, and then finally the piece you see here.
Alpay Efe is one of my favourite modern artists, and an absolute inspiration for my art!
You absolutely have to watch some of this man's incredible videos, if you haven't already.

In my spare time I have been able to work on a few personal pieces. This is the one I have managed to get the furthest with so far. I call it "Attack of the Fairy Queen" and it is oil paint on 20cm x 20cm board.
I'm pretty happy with it, but what do you think?
Throwback to Christmas 2020!
This was a watercolour I created after watching Lioba Brückner and her Halloween piece 3 years ago. I still had room for improvement, but I learnt so much about composition and painting with watercolour paints.
