GIGABYTE MZ33-AR1 supports AMD EPYC 9005 / 9004 series processors (up to 192 cores, 500W TDP), offering 24 DDR5 DIMMs, 4× PCIe Gen5 x16, dual 10GbE, and full BMC management, enabling flexible deployment for compute-intensive workloads.

The platform is actively advancing toward open firmware adoption with openSIL + Coreboot and future OpenBMC support, making it one of the few retail EPYC 9005 motherboards with open firmware potential.
