I’ve spent many weeks doing fieldwork in Tibet, sitting above these enormous, deeply incised Himalayan river systems and seeing firsthand just how geologically active this landscape is.

So spare me the climate-change grift every time a natural disaster strikes.

Catastrophic glacial outburst floods are not new. The 1981 Zhangzangbo GLOF released ~20 million m³ of water and debris into Nepal, with estimated peak discharge approaching 16,000 m³/s. The Himalayas experienced enormous GLOFs long before today's atmospheric CO₂ concentrations.

If it happened naturally in the past, we should expect it to happen naturally again in the future—regardless of atmospheric CO₂.

Turning a horrific loss of life into an immediate climate-change narrative without demonstrating that CO₂ caused this particular event isn't attribution. It's opportunism.

And the people exploiting tragedy to do it are grifters.

Dear Muslims: My family and I have decided to move from the US to a Muslim country. We haven't picked which one yet—we're still comparing which one offers the best benefits package.

All my neighbors want to come too. And my neighbors' neighbors. And all their friends. And their friends' friends. Millions of us will show up with suitcases and a sense of entitlement.

As a large Christian community, we'll need a few small changes: Please start building churches immediately. Real churches, with nice loud bells, the kind that can be heard from the town square.

We'll also need for everyone to celebrate Christmas, and to close certain streets once a year for our processions. We may want to gather to pray to our Almighty God on your streets, in your parks, or on the lawns of your mosques.

We'll be an oppressed minority, so you'll have to be understanding and adapt to our way of life. Every supermarket must stock real pork, ham, chorizo, and bacon. And we're bringing all our dogs, so you'll need dog parks, and you'll have to smile tolerate them we walk them in front of your mosques. We want our women to be able to safely go out alone and wear shorts and tank tops. And when the weather's nice, we men like to go shirtless. We also want to drink alcohol, dance, and place an occasional bet at the horse races.

While we're at it, your religious holidays are a bit too much; they could offend the Christian community, so we'd appreciate it if you'd discreetly eliminate them. Thanks.

In schools and workplaces, our children and employees must be able to wear large crucifixes, say prayers, eat ham sandwiches in the cafeteria, and learn Christian principles without anyone getting criticized. We also demand chapels or Christian prayer rooms in every building, plus translators, because we have no intention of learning Arabic.

If any of this is rejected, please send a list of police station addresses so we can report you for discrimination, Christianophobia, racism, and anything we don't like.

One more thing: if my kids protest or burn your flag for any reason, please be understanding. I'll be sure to give them a very serious scolding.

Finally, we all want generous benefits, free housing, phones, free food, and pocket money while we "integrate" over the next three generations. Working is optional, obviously. Be patient with us, you'll get used to it.

🚨SENTENCED🚨

An HSI investigation resulted in the sentencing of an illegal alien from Colombia, who falsely claimed U.S. citizenship for more than two decades and thereby voted in multiple elections.

Carlos Felipe Jaramillo-Grajales was sentenced to 3 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to making false statements on a U.S. passport application, aggravated identity theft, falsely claiming a Social Security number, and making a false claim to U.S. citizenship.

Jaramillo-Grajales used the name, date of birth, and Social Security number of a U.S. citizen to obtain a passport.

He then employed the same stolen identity to assert U.S. citizenship, secure a Florida driver’s license, and register to vote, casting ballots in several elections, including the 2020 general election.

Under this false identity, he married a woman who had entered the United States in September 2003 on a visitor’s visa.

The marriage enabled her to apply for naturalization as the spouse of a purported U.S. citizen.

After she naturalized in August 2017, the couple divorced in January 2020, and he returned to Colombia under the assumed name.

His former wife later traveled to Colombia and filed a fiancé visa petition for him under his true identity.

Once the visa was approved, Jaramillo-Grajales reentered the United States under his real name, remarried his ex-wife in June 2025, and applied for permanent residence on the basis of that marriage to a U.S. citizen.
