@matoxley I am going tomorrow. If they were on earlier I would have probably watched it but I’ll be surprised if we stick around for the race tomorrow. Seen bits of the American series on tv and wasn’t overly interested. But I’m not a Harley for. Have never owned one and have no interest.
@matoxley If this doesn’t get overturned I honestly think I’ll stop following. My dad took me to my first Motorcycle Grand Prix in 1992 at donnigton park and I think since then I’ve not missed a race. Not always live admittedly but as soon as I could. It’s changing for the worse. I’m out
@denkmit But they have tried and it obviously hasn’t worked successfully. But invitation is what drives any sport. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. I loved the smell and noise of a 2T but they seized and spat the very best off without a seconds notice. Safety happens after accidents
@bikesontnt Just logged into to HBO max for the first time and the coverage hasn’t started. Is this normal? I thought it was all live when on Discovery. Admittedly I don’t usually watch FP1 but was surprised I couldn’t this afternoon
@AkirasanUK@SpeedwayLions Always find it strange when people complain about noise from any motorsports event. Especially Speedway that has 15 1 minute heats once a week! Seems very petty to me.
@denkmit@JTayF1 when so many purpose built circuits are struggling financially and what this Adelaide circuit will cost surely the money would be best spent upgrading a facility that can be used year round for domestic, national championships and trackdays where streets don’t need closure
@denkmit What do think the teams/ riders will think about it and will they be able to speak out against it if they’re unhappy. I’ve not seen a street view of the circuit but will they be able to add sufficient run off
@MarkHolden61088@Artemisfornow But they’ve demolished our power stations and installed solar panels on farm land so instead we can only buy our food and energy from overseas.
@denkmit I struggle to understand how this circuit was approved! I mean surely at the planning stage someone should have said fast and flowing usually offers the best racing. And I don’t mean like hockenheim long straights and chicanes. But look at assen P.I or sepang even and replicate
@denkmit Ticket prices are to high and even though the circuit always produces some of the best racing the viewing is rubbish. I don’t know what the answer is but Silverstone is a soleless arena with zero atmosphere
@bikesontnt In Motorsport you get breakdowns! It’s rare but this is the game. Today Fabio showed what he’s made of and extracted everything out of the machine. It might hurt but all in all I would say it was a positive day. The British GP nearly always produces an excellent race!
@matoxley@Frozenspeed I get that there’s a reason behind these rules but there must be a way they can make allowances for such circumstances. As it is it all guess work to where they end up running. Did his tyre pressure give him 16 seconds of pace? There has to be a better way.
@denkmit I’m looking forward to watching John in BSB. Would’ve loved to see him in moto 2 though. It’s a Shame it comes down to who has the most money but I appreciate these teams need to get funding from somewhere. Britain needs a bike fan with deep pockets to help our riders out
@jet2tweets if you’re going to load passengers an hour before take off like you did to us this morning please don’t play the same 5 Christmas songs on repeat. That was more punishing than being trapped in a hot plane
@denkmit If it brings it to the attention of a larger audience it can only be a good thing. Every sport needs money and a fan base is the only way to build more revenue
