Yesterday, I had the pleasure of presenting Hannah Harper with an official Congressional Record honoring her amazing accomplishment of reaching the finale on American Idol.
I know all of Missouri is behind Hannah and we wish her the best of luck in next week’s finale. Be sure to tune in on Monday, May 11 at 7:00 pm central time and vote for Hannah!
For too long, the ‘Big 4’ meatpacking giants have held all the power—while Missouri’s cattle producers do the work.
I support @TheJusticeDept and @USDA investigating potential anti-competitive practices in the meatpacking industry. Our ranchers deserve a fair shot, real competition, and transparent pricing.
If there’s wrongdoing, it will be exposed—and it will be stopped. I’ll always stand with the farmers and ranchers who feed this country, not the corporations trying to game the system.
Producers First. Not Packers.

As many of you know, there has been a severe drought covering much of Southeast Missouri, and you may have gotten texts like these from FSA. That's because in the One, Big, Beautiful Bill, we improved disaster assistance to now allow for two payments instead of one, and the first one triggers after four consecutive weeks of drought — not 8 as before.
Congrats to my friend Robin Wenneker on her appointment as Chair of the Missouri FSA State Committee! She is a champion for agriculture and will continue to do great things for our state.
Today, I had the distinct honor of hosting @FLOTUS at the Ways and Means Committee for a roundtable discussion about modernizing America’s foster care system to better support youth aging out of the foster care system. She has been a tireless advocate for our nation’s foster youth and I am grateful for her commitment to them.
We heard from two foster youth, Jaydan and Jocelyn, who testified about their experience in the foster care system and gave us recommendations as to how we can reform the system to improve outcomes.
Excited to join @SecWar this afternoon at Boeing's St. Louis facility to celebrate this major win for Missouri workers, the regional economy, and our nation's defense!
This move sends a strong message: the future of America's defense capabilities is being built right here in the heartland.🇺🇸

The FFA is an organization that I, along with many of our members, care deeply about.
Its mission is to create the next generation of American agriculture leaders, not to provide an opening for CCP influence — something I had to remind my Democrat colleagues of at today's hearing.
Enjoyed getting to join @POTUS and @VP at the White House for dinner last night.
Looking forward to another year of working with this Administration to pass policies to better the lives of all Americans!
The Working Families Tax Cuts delivered the largest tax cut in American history, the biggest beneficiaries being working class Americans.
Thanks to this law, a family of four making $73,000 will owe $0.00 in federal taxes this tax season.
Since the day the Rams abandoned St. Louis, I haven’t cheered for them. While Kansas isn’t as far as California, this is once again a painful reminder that teams’ ultimate loyalty isn’t to their fans - it’s to their bottom line. It’s beyond disappointing that the NFL would allow not one, not two, but three teams to leave Missouri. I didn’t think the Chiefs season could get worse - but I was wrong.
Enjoyed this morning at the White House to witness @POTUS and @FLOTUS pardon Gobble and Waddle.
Wishing everyone and their families a Happy Thanksgiving!
Missouri’s cattle ranchers have been crushed for years by foreign-owned meat packers who have rigged our cattle markets and driven up food prices for Americans at the store.
Thank you @POTUS for taking them on and fighting to restore fairness, rebuild rural America, and put our farmers and ranchers FIRST!
