Way more than just hunters. I hunt but I also enjoy all kinds of other activities on our public lands beyond hunting.

In theory the people own the government and by default also own the lands the government manages.

What you are fundamentally saying to the American public is you want to take lands that we the people own and enjoy and sell them to help patch a mile wide hole with the head of a pin. A hole that has been created by term after term of corruption in Washington by people whose last interests seem what is good for the American people.

Read the room dude.

You want to do something great? Clean house of the corruption, lower taxes substantially, deal with illegal immigration and above all else give the American taxpayers something meaningful for the labor they contribute in the form of taxes that makes them feel like they are something more than tax cattle for the elites in Washington and their buddies. -R

The legislation specifically exempts National Parks, National Monuments, Wilderness Areas, National Recreation Areas, and eleven other categories of federally protected land from sales to build much-needed housing for American families.
