This behaviour has both shocked and appalled me. I believe strongly in my local community, and that this is allowed - whether complicitly or implicitly - is unacceptable.

No other women felt able or willing to stand up against this man.

This is unacceptable, and clearly not an isolated incident given his friends - or indeed staff members - reactions to the incident. His inability to handle his drink does in NO way allow abuse of anyone, least of all women

2/4 #abuseisabuse every time we did to try and intimidate and approach us, with continued choice insults and swear words. We waited with his friends who let us know that 'he can't handle his drink' until he decided to leave. We then had to walk home together to ensure our safety
