@GeraintKemp@WalesRugby@Steffan_Thomas1 It’s not about commitment though is it. It’s not military service. The entire episode, whether you support it or not, is about money. And they have proven to the WRU that they tick that box.
@Cash216573Cash@WalesRugby@Steffan_Thomas1 Ospreys owners* yes. Ran out of time to edit. The point remains, they’ve already been awarded a licence (albeit they had to back off following the backlash). Not like they’ll be found the opposite just a few months later is it. They’re also not rocking the boat publicly.
@GeraintKemp@WalesRugby@Steffan_Thomas1 Silence would be far more prudent right now than publicly removing your only bargaining chip to guarantee rugby in Llanelli. Especially when your “competition” Y11 were already deemed worthy of a licence just a few months ago.
@Cash216573Cash@WalesRugby@Steffan_Thomas1 Up until a few months ago, they were set to give the Ospreys a licence for one of the 3. So they’ve already given them their backing to be a licence holder. The same can’t be said for Scarlets. It is 50/50 but if you were to give one side the edge, it would be Y11.
@WhingerSpice@AgileHarvey I think the point is more the fact the rule exists, not how closely was it followed. Error or not, it’s anti-consumer to end a race in a procession. It’s not like it’s simple to solve either. There’s examples out there.
@OliverKay Weird, or are people starting to push back on football “journalists” displaying main character energy and inserting themselves into the story. Can easily make the same point by simply stopping and asking literally anyone else and using their quotes.
@philclarke0170@Dubstep1988@MiguelDelaney No doubt mate. But there’s a version of doing that without making himself the story. From a journalistic integrity perspective, find a runner, get them to do it, and make that profile the story.
@philclarke0170@Dubstep1988 You think the Darren Fletcher’s and Sam Matterface’s are a move in a positive direction? Respectfully, I think you’re bonkers. Commentators are there to tell you what’s happening, the pundit next to them is there to tell you why. The match is the star.
