The differences are WILD. In this version of the Quran being given out in America they removed the part that lets men discipline women with physical force. It removed the part where it tells Muslims to kill nonbelievers. The jizya which is the nonbeliever tax in Islam, it’s framed as optional, which is a lie. The examples go on and on and I’ll include them at the end

-Missing budget codes
-Invalid budget codes (i.e. the payment was not linked to the budget)
-Budget codes with no authorization (i.e. the budget had already been fully spent)

J6ers weren't just arrested.

The government lied about us in court filings and withheld exculpatory information we needed to counter the lies. Many other due process rights were denied. Several of us were detained pretrial, and the rest of us had our travel restricted pretrial and basic rights taken away. Every week, we had to report to the court by phone. The government used a 20-year felony (that the Supreme Court later threw out) to leverage bad plea deals.

We have been subject to intense media scrutiny for years. Because of this, we have received death threats and constant hate. Friends have abandoned us. Relationships have been broken. We have been debanked. We have been permanently banned from Facebook and Instagram. Apps like Uber, PayPal, and AirBNB have canceled us. Our businesses have been irreparably harmed or destroyed. We have been kicked out of universities or had our educations delated. We have lost good careers and now find it almost impossible to get hired because of the false stigma created about us. Several J6ers have gone through divorce, and some have lost custody of their children. A few of us took our own lives. Many are now dealing with PTSD.

Let's not forget that for exercising First Amendment rights, every aspect of our lives was invaded. Swat teams pointed loaded guns at us and our families. There were lasers on children. Our property was taken from us for years. Our personal data was seized by the government, and then the government used that data out of context to further defame us in public. The FISA Court found that the FBI illegally used warrentless surveillance on us thousands of times.

Yet we stood on the front lines in court to defend the Constitution and the America we love. We knew that if we did not resist tyranny, then tyranny would gain momentum and come for the rest of you. But it still might. If weaponization isn't rooted out of government, it will become much worse. We are frustrated at the lack of progress on this because the stakes are high and time is short - radical government extremism is an existential threat to freedom and the American way of life.

If you want to forget what the government did to J6ers, the boot will be on your own throat. If you want to sweep the government's conduct under the rug, then these agencies will never be reformed. If you reward and promote those who did it, you will not deter anyone from doing it again. If you make it acceptable for the government to shred the Constitutional rights of J6ers, you will eventually lose your rights too.

Move past January 6 at your own peril. If you do not get the full truth of what happened and accountability for government abuses, the only other path forward is tyranny. And your lives will be wrecked as ours have been.
