Inclusivity…. It has that too. ✅
Diverse fanbase….Has that also. ✅

This IP by some miracle and also skill, has garnered a fanbase of pragmatic, patient and loyal fans. All walks of life. Pretty content with their fandom and franchise.

Stargate caters to many types of people. It’s just why it worked. I’m a huge fan of the show, and decided to get more vocal about this as news dropped for a new show. It’s like reviving something I thought had gone forever.

@AmazonMGMStudio if you feel fans are the issue, or if you think fanbases are a liability. This isn’t the case. Social media amplifies opinion now. True. But …

You had the likes of @BaronDestructo interacting with the fandom daily in a positive and constructive way.

You had @martingero and @bradtravelers along with @GateWorld and @dial_the_gate ANNOUNCE the show to FANS! Reassuring us it would be thoughtful and also this was a jumping on point for NEW FANS. Something Stargate has done all these years whilst it’s been drifting like Destiny.

Gate World and Dial the Gate have kept the lights on for a long time. As key pillars of the community we listen to those voices. You should too Amazon MGM.

From a business standpoint. I’m struggling to grasp the strategy in this decision. You had a baked in, loyal and quite frankly large fanbase in positive spirits for an Amazon project. That’s honestly gold dust. You had your answer to Trek and Star Wars (and I say this as a big Star Wars fan)

If you don’t care for the fans. That’s your choice. If you do. You owe us a deeper explanation outside of what seems to be a planned media release via Variety.

Your data is wrong. It can be disproven. So what’s the catch? What’s the actual reason.
