@cjjohns1951 @wartranslated It's actually quite simple. He's saying that, under communism, everyone was expected to suffer equally, such that no 1 enjoyed more success than anyone else. In that same way, he is not allowed to succeed more than any other unit. So, no shells etc sufficient to take bakhmut

Following the Japanese Way of Business is essential to Japanese Identity. As a result, people in power have absolute total authority and their decisions must be carried out without question. In Japan, however, those who hold power are not always logical, analytical thinkers ....

This is the paradox of the Japanese Identity – respect for tradition precludes real change and without real change Japanese society is doomed. Because of the nature of Japanese Identity, the Japanese cannot adapt to the outside world. To do so would destroy Japanese Identity.

As such, rather than embrace the outside world, try to understand it, and adapt to it, Japanese companies expect the outside world to respect Japanese culture and tradition and, in effect, to adapt to the Japanese way of business.

@Carl_F88 @wartranslated I truly believe UKR will win this war. However, to me, the only way to win will be to force putin to capitulate. But that will require breaking him - and all if his supporters - psychologically and emotionally. Absolute, total defeat.

@Fizmoo1 @wartranslated I think you are probably exactly right. Russians put up with misery because they are used to it and have no choice. The rest of us know better. Ultimately, russians are not westerners bc they are not humanists. they dont believe in the intrinsic value of human life

@Carl_F88 @wartranslated I have no idea. But supplying weapons to ukr is a choice. NATO can stop whenever. Putin will never stop. He still has like another 142 million russians he can order to the front line. to me, biden needs to stop saying what he wont do. putin has never said what he wont do

@wartranslated he can't suddenly declare that UKR is not an abomination and therefore be allowed to exist. He can't unbelieve/unsay "denazify" when he believes in his soul that it must happen. Psychologically, he could never negotiate or withdraw. this fight is to the end

@wartranslated If you understand the psychology of disputes, it has always been obvious (to me) that this war can only end with one side capitulating. Putin believes that UKR (as country, culture, language) is an abomination and cannot be allowed to exist
