Seeing how much the world accepts that it’s impossible to move on after watching CPR really makes me think about how we (medical professionals, especially those who work in Emergency departments) are expected to just move on immediately after a code.
Highly recommend reading up on the Rodanda Vaught case if you haven’t. It’s terrifying as a nurse but it should also be terrifying as a patient. This is setting the profession so far back for quality improvement and the just culture that has been fought for for generations.
