NEW: Biden is "dependably engaged" between the hours of 10am & 4pm according to his aides who say Biden struggled because the debate was so late (9pm).

Sounds like the next debate will need to be at the prime time of Noon ET.

White House aides are coming forward to assure the American people that Biden is fine by saying that he is very engaged for 6 hours of the day.

"From 10am to 4pm, Biden is dependably engaged — and many of his public events in front of cameras are held within those hours," Axios reported.

"Outside of that time range or while traveling abroad, Biden is more likely to have verbal miscues and become fatigued."

The 90-minute debate that started at 9pm was just too much for the vigorous president who struggled throughout the entire debate.
