I love living in Montana. I just read a found horse announcement on-air on @mtpublicradio.
If you’re missing a grey and black speckled horse, I might be able to help you.
@NWSL@ThornsFC very disappointed that I cannot watch today’s game on my television. The game is not airing live on the television app and can only be accessed off my phone with casting and mirroring to my TV impossible. Disappointing.
“To go through all that trouble to get my stuff back and then to have nothing that I needed there … it was traumatizing all in itself. It was heartbreaking. It felt like losing everything all over again,” said one person living unhoused in Portland.

I will never forget my summer working at the Missoulian. Rob’s desk was filled with fascinating books, stacks of reporting notebooks and post-it notes with story ideas stuck everywhere. Curiosity is what makes a good journalist and I saw that in Rob Chaney. Big loss for MT.
Dark day for Montana news. Missoulian's Rob Chaney laid off this morning after 28 years.
Rob was the very best of us and we'll miss him dearly, but this won't be his demise.
From his Facebook: "It has been a fantastic run. And I have many miles more to go. Hang tough."
@joannna @iSmashFizzle my name is Maddy and I am a producer, editor and former host. I worked for over a year as a producer for Montana Public Radio. I currently do communications work but want to get back into narrative audio storytelling.
BREAKING: Workers at the Chicago Roastery, the biggest Starbucks in the WORLD, just filed for a union election. When they win, every Starbucks Roastery in North America will be union.
I spoke with Starbucks workers whose stores took down Pride decorations under a no decoration policy enacted the beginning of the month https://t.co/4VRIQuiAWd
As a former @missoulian reporter, I consider it journalistic malpractice to publish a letter to the editor with such misinformation. It has real world impacts on people, including myself, a trans non-binary person. I expect the editorial team to publish a thoughtful response.
One addendum to my story on the anti-union efforts of companies with progressive reputations: While some of the union campaigns appeared to slow down after the companies became more aggressive, the companies have not been able to stamp them out. 1/ https://t.co/tMW5h2IjxA
Howard Schultz doesn't seem to understand why Starbucks workers could possibly need a union, so Sen. Tina Smith explains it to him.
"You're a billionaire and they're your employees. The imbalance of power is extreme, and that's why they want to come together to form a union."
FACT CHECK: Howard Schultz claims that Starbucks is limited by law in the raises it can give to unionized workers. The NLRB has said that Schultz’s claim is false and that withholding raises is illegal.
We’ve been working hard on our economic demands. We’re fighting for a $20 an hour starting wage nationwide, a 37-hour week guarantee for full-time workers, a 100% employer-covered health-care plan for workers, credit card tipping for all stores and MORE!

@natehegyi As a former Minnesotan, no. At that temperature the air temp generally feels the same, but will hurt more and quicker. Watch out for frostbite and invest in gloves that you can wear and take notes while wearing.
ZOOEY ZEPHYR WINS IN MONTANA!
Montana's first trans woman legislator! In a state that has curtailed transgender rights so heavily lately, her voice will give transgender people in Montana representation where these laws are being made.
What a wonderful night.
