Iâve heard the saying that âGod gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.â But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I donât see Him choosing the âtoughest soldiersâ, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I donât see God choosing His âtoughest soldiers.â But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.
I once thought I was a âtough soldierâ until I met Jesus, I then realized that Iâm so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I canât do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.
America loves you, Freddy! You've shown the world a different side of this country, the *real* America! We tend to take for granted the blessings we're given but experiencing our country through your eyes has reminded us of the beauty that resides here. Thank you Freddy!
So long, Americađ«Ąđșđž
49 days ago we landed in the USA to follow our country at the World Cup. We had no idea it would turn into the trip of a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, and to all the people we met who made this journey even more special. We honestly donât have the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us.
This trip exceeded every expectation we had. We came here with an open mind, wanting to experience as much of the country as possible. I still remember telling my friends on the flight to Atlanta that I hoped weâd get to meet a few locals on this trip. Now weâre flying home with friends all across the USA.
Before we came, we heard so many stereotypes and warnings about America. People told us about safety concerns, that they might check our social media at the border, and all kinds of other things. None of it matched our experience. This was probably the most welcoming country weâve ever visited.
So if you have the chance to travel, do it. The world isnât nearly as bad as the media often makes it seem. 99% of people are awesome!
I heard this quote somewhere during the World Cup, and I think it sums up our experience perfectly:
âIf you want to hate the world, watch the news. If you want to love it, travel it.â
Thank you, America â€ïžđșđž

Walking with Jesus doesnât guarantee an easier life, it doesnât guarantee that things would always go our way. Sometimes God may send us into a storm, sometimes He may lead us into a valley. But itâs in those moment where we learn to trust Him and we learn to surrender, which isnât easy. Itâs in those moments where we can see how weak we are without Jesus and how much we need Him. God doesnât abandon us in the storm or valley and Heâs not working against us. Heâs with us in every moment and Heâs for us. In those moments, sometimes itâs hard to see what Heâs doing, but we have to walk by faith and we have to hold on to His promises. The storms and the valleys that He takes us through at times are not meant to destroy us, but itâs to draw us closer to Him and to build us up into the man and the woman Heâs calling us to be. Donât let go, keep holding on!
âBut he said to me, âMy grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.â Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.â
2 Corinthians 12:9
You cannot claim that youâre aborting your Down syndrome child because you donât want him to âsuffer.â First of all, killing a child so they donât suffer is psychopath serial killer logic. Youâre on the same moral plane as Andrea Yates. Second, children with Down syndrome are famously some of the happiest people youâll ever meet in your life. They are not in fact living in a state of perpetual torment. So whatâs really happening is that youâre killing your child so that YOU wonât suffer the inconvenience of caring for him. This is about freeing yourself of your own perceived suffering. If youâre going to be a child killing sociopath, at least be honest about it.
Retards starting tweeting that the assassination attempt was "staged" 10 seconds after it happened. No evidence for that claim. No reason to make it. Nothing at all. Just a narrative constructed out of whole cloth. They have the guy in custody, alive. And yet they'll still say this was somehow a hoax. You have to understand that, for a lot of people in this country, the truth just doesn't matter. It makes no difference to them. The truth is whatever they want it to be. These are the same people who spent years claiming that men can give birth the babies. They're living in fantasyland. They cannot differentiate between the things they wish are real and the things that are actually real. They don't recognize the distinction between these categories. They're toddlers in adult bodies. Their brains and souls are malformed. There's no saving them.
Home, again! Mission complete. I hope we glorified God, humanity, our families and our terrific teams a @NASA and @csa_asc. Time to share the good news!
After 10 days in space logging nearly 700,000 miles, traveling all the way around the moon, and setting the record as the humans who have traveled farthest from our planet, the crew of Artemis II has successfully returned to Earth with splash down off the coast of San Diego.
Absolutely EPIC, and welcome home to the crew of Artemis II. You've made America proud.

I'm going to keep posting this Alstair Begg clip "The Man on the Middle Cross" (less than four minutes in length) every Holy Week, because its message is true in 2026, it will be true in 2036 and it will be true in 3036.
"If i take my eyes off the cross, I can then give only lip service to its efficacy while at the same time living as if my salvation depends upon me.
And as soon as you go there it will lead you either to abject despair or a horrible kind of arrogance.
And it is only the cross of Christ that deals both with the dreadful depths of despair and the pretentious arrogance of the pride of man that says you know, I can figure this out."
âIn the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and havenât strayed away!â
Luke 15:7 đđœ
the worst cultural development of the past decade is libsâ insistence on politics being everything
someone dies? did they support transgender homosexual communism?
someone wins a gold medal? do they support transgender homosexual communism?
someone goes viral for a funny, cute video? do they support transgender homosexual communism?
libs will literally disinvite their own parents and grandparents from Thanksgiving dinner because their parents / grandparents donât support transgender homosexual communism
for most people, news and politics are a very small part of life, behind school, work, friends, hobbies, etc.
but around 2012 / 2013, libs decided that âthe personal was political,â which meant everyone must support transgender homosexual communism. itâs only gotten worse since then
ironically, this attitude has only hurt libs. the average person sees a beloved celebrity die and thinks ârest in peace,â not âlet me audit their views to see if they supported all my gay retarded pet causesâ
this attitude just alienates people and reminds everyone that liberals are insane, annoying, and mean-spirited
God woke Kid Rock up to write a final verse to ââTill You Canâtâ
Once you hear it, itâs like the song was never complete until now:
âThereâs a book sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off.
âThereâs a man who died, for all our sins, hanging from a cross.
âYou can give your life to Jesus, and heâll give you a second chanceâŠ
Until you canât.â
I went back to Luke this morning just to revisit the story of Christmas⊠and Luke 2:7 hit me like an arrow to the chest:
âShe gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in cloths and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn.â
We romanticize that line so much that we forget how brutal it actually is. If the gospel narrative is true, then thatâs not a cute nativity detail. That is the most explosive statement in human history.
The God who created galaxies entered His own creation⊠and there was no room for Him.
No royal welcome, no palace, no safety, no honor, not even a bed. He comes into the world He made, and the doors are closed in His face.
This is the single greatest scandal of Christianity: God doesnât supervise salvation from a throne. He steps into it. He doesnât arrive in glory. He arrives vulnerable. He doesnât come intimidating humanity into submission. He comes as a child who canât even hold His own head up. If you were inventing a religion, this is not the story youâd write.
Luke is quietly showing something staggering about Godâs character:
He wins, not by force, but by love.
He saves, not by domination, but by self-giving. He comes close, not as a King demanding space, but as a Savior entering even when there is âno room.â
And that manger isnât sentimental. Itâs confrontational.
It confronts our pride, cos humanity has always had space for power, wealth, celebrity, and status⊠just never space for God unless He serves our plans.
It confronts our illusions of strength cos God is showing that real power isnât the ability to crush. Real power is the courage to empty yourself for the sake of others.
It confronts religion, cos God bypassed temples and elites and arrived where animals feed⊠then announced His coming not to emperors, but to shepherds.
Luke 2:7 tells us who God is.
He is not distant, He is not indifferent, He is not cold sovereignty. He is the God who chooses weakness so He can stand with the weak. He is the God who walks into human pain instead of observing it from afar. He is the God who would rather be rejected with us than reign without us.
If this verse is true, Christianity isnât just another belief system. Itâs a radical claim that the deepest power in the universe is love; not might, not fear, not spectacle.
So yes⊠this verse broke me today.
Because if this is who God is⊠then hope isnât sentimental. Grace isnât theoretical. And Christmas isnât âcute.â
Itâs God stepping into history quietlyâŠ
exposing us gently⊠and saving us completely. Luke 2:7 isnât a childrenâs story. Itâs a revolution.
Merry Christmas đâ€ïž
